yes because he dropped everything, stencil buffer fx, map complexity, etc. It's a compromise and I have an overclocked i7 3770, 16GB RAM and GTX 1070 and around 20 FPS on crowded areas, it can go as high as 60 in less dense areas. I set OMSI to the highest possible settings.

Omsi doesn't require a good gpu you can put shitiest gpu and it will runn the same as let's say yours 2070.Every thing is mainly about cpu and your settings. I play Omsi since 2013 and to this day i have 20fps with any bus and still looking for something new to try but game is badly optimized and thats it. If you found something out please share bc I'm out of ideas after all these years 😂

For people thinking to buy a NASA PC for OMSI 2. Don't. OMSI 2 does not need the best of systems, it only need's at least 2 GB of RAM and, it only needs a 2-4 core CPU. OMSI 2 is just not optimized or stable enough yet to take full advantage of a high end system, maybe with OMSI 3 we can see that capability shine.
Unfortunately, OMSI 3 will never come. Unless Marcel and Rudge decide to be friends again, work together and continue their project. As for the CPU and GPU, yea. That's completely true. OMSI is meant to work at 30 FPS max, and this in a Berlin-like map, with a PC of 2013. I have a Ryzen 5 5600X and a RX 5500XT 8 GB, and also 16 GB of RAM and still get no more than 20 FPS in some places in a map like London. That already shows that OMSI is not optimized. It also depends on the addon... sometimes it is not OMSI fault.
@@User-jr7vf Addons are the only only thing keeping this game alive, specificly UK addons. However these addons still have limitations once again due to OMSI 2's game engine. And once these addons reach a certian point in their complexity, OMSI 2 will completely stop supporting them. Areosoft despite owning OMSI 2 cannot do anything since they are just the publishers NOT the actual developers.
