This is such a clever idea! You make these things so simple, but they certainly aren't! Beautiful!❤

I love how it turned out! I can't wait to try it . Do you leave the string in the painting or remove it? If you remove it, how dry is the paint before you do that? Also interesting that there were no cells in the swipe despite the floetrol

Thanks! I remove the string. I would ideally remove the string while the paint is still slightly wet (so after it's been drying for a few hours). I wouldn't wait for the paint to fully dry otherwise the string will pull up the paint and the canvas when you try to remove it. Yip, it's interesting, I never get any cells from a swipe unless I use silicone oil...

If your pants comfrey mixed, do you still have to mix them with flotrol. and water?

If your paints come pre-mixed, then no need to mix with Floetrol and water. However, I’m not sure if the pre-mixed paints will react exactly the same way - would love to know how it turns out if you give it a try!

Thank you! 💕 Yes, you should remove the string. It's best to wait a few hours until the paint has partly dried but don't wait until the paint is fully dry otherwise it will be difficult to remove the string.

Thank you 😊. In the video the painting was fully wet, it hadn't dried yet (I hope that answers your question).
