And like I said not my bunkai, I study Shotokan not write or devise the techniques.
Gkr took some techniques and katas from shotokan and Gojo Kai.
Thus named itself Gojo Kan Ryu.

For those wondering, the person doing the kata is Isaka Sensei. Attackers are Senseis Kawawada, Sakata, Kagawa and Fukami; all among the best kata performers the JKA produced in the late 1970's to mid-1980's.

Kanazawa and Sensei Enoeda they have always had a huge effect and inspiration on me.
I had some inspirational words from Enoeda Sensei..I couldnt really say Gkr is better than Shotokan,I just have a huge deep passion for Shotokan.For me it could only be Shotokan.Thanks for your positive feedback.And good luck in your karate studies.

My Kata for the month. Due to bad knee. Had to stop for a very long time. New knee in 2020. After rehab started doing a Kata a month starting with Heian Shodan. Allthe way to Gangaku. I started over at Gangaku. Just finished Tekki Sandan. This Kata will kick your but. I’m lucky to do it ten times in a row. The first time I did ten. I freaking tossed. One hell of a Kata. It’s my 1st Dan Kata. And it’s one of the most mystical and magical Katas in the series of Kata. Therehave been some very strange things happen to me when training this Kata. Out of this world stuff.

"Best" if you're a white belt, but completely unpractical in the real world. If you're teaching a student this kata for the first time then its okay, but once they've learned it. They should be learning practical bunkai more akin to this...
