    Flagbearer mod is useful for any character with an attack count = to their block count, like centurions or crushers, or heal trait for reapers. I was going to run her anyway, and it's just an extra piece of synergy to other pieces I was also already going to run.

      Thing is you need enemies in range for that extra block to do anything. And in 99% of cases 3 block is plenty for your aoe guard to clean house. It's not useless just insanely niche in practical terms.

    Don't worry. I killed Ethan with Myrtle module, too, because I forgot what it does and was very confused why he kept dying on one map. I still keep forgetting about it's effect, but at least I haven't deployed them together since then.
    Glad to see that he has his own tier, too. My boy deserves it.

    Minosknights players use conviction too much, so there are a few things you missed that are worth noting:
    1: Conviction also gets a lower redeploy cooldown. This means that they can serve as a pseudo-FRD for some situations thanks to having a ~40 second downtime between retreats. Unfortunately, the stun is greatly impactful here, and since Conviction can't block this means they're effectively useless for the first 10 seconds of every deployment, which sucks. The stun is shit.
    2: Conviction can actually block enemies for one frame after deployment. This means that you can force out a single auto from an enemy on deployment, which has exactly NO useful applications and since Conviction isn't very tanky it serves as yet another detriment to this cursed ass operator.
    3: The module is bugged! For the first deployment Conviction won't refund dp on retreat, which if you only have 5 operators means that your dp economy is screwed. This means for the first deployment there is no inherent benefit to retreating Conviction manually, so you should just let the bugger die. Retreats work as normal from the second deployment onward, though.
    Conviction is so damn cursed why was Minos given an april fool's operator as at least 20% of the niche if not more because Erato sucks and Conviction is lowkey crucial to the niche as a whole being an 8 dp blocker.

    Amaranthine basically means "of or like the amaranth" or "purple-red colour". Amaranth being an ancient grain used by Central/South American natives and it was also often purple-red in colour. Amaranth can also refer to a mythological everlasting flower. Considering this is Pondeco we are talking about it probably refers to an everlasting purple and/or red flower.
    So an Amaranthine Nursury probably is some sort of greenhouse where the flowers are always in bloom.

    Arts defenders will probably get a module the day a 6 star actually comes out of their specific class. Maybe they'll get an extra block for standard Defender parity..
    Mentioning attack speed on Mousse, it might be a 'funny rng' upgrade if she got attack speed on crit or something to counterbalance the extended attack duration of it. Though of course extra talent effects are like a 15% chance to happen between 4 and 5 stars.
    And crushers.. I like parroting that percentage defense ignore, like 10%, would be the most straightforward offensive trait boost. Suits their besieger-ass flavor of attack. Plus would give a bigger boost to Quartz S2 to give you an excuse to use it.
    (Likewise I believe Incantation "medics" should get like 15 *percent* res ignore Y mod, to pair with the lifesteal + arts amplifiers that the healing is centralized around)
    Defensively, like for a Y module, it might be funny if crushers get an extra life - cuz dreadnought meming.. But really, a "10% dmg reduction (not sanctuary) for every blocked enemy" might also make sense on the "alright well here's another centurion mode" angle...

    On Verdant and Earthspirit's pages I noticed you were fiddling with the hoverable text. The intended behavior is, if you make the tooltip appear and then move your mouse, it assumes you've already read it and won't display it again until you move off and back on. For some reason this applies if your mouse stops and starts moving at all, even if the tooltip didn't have time to appear. I think most other tooltips with a delay work like this too.

    I like how i been long enough in the game to hear that a bunch of the units i use are quite bad and say "well... anyway" i stand the sad cat, and the other thing is see how some of those modules would have more value if given to other ops, i dunno is like someone mistook them and gave them to other ops

      Oh yes, some time ago, before go deeper into game knowledge i raised and used Kirara, today is still E1 but the E2 would come, and Pinecone best girl, she is not a bad character clearly, but the second i pulled her it was like magic, i first liked her design and after her capability of murdering the enemies, Exusiai who knows you! (The only most meta thing that i have raised is a Mlynar and i dont use him that much)

      @@DrSilvergun Sometimes you need to manually adjust the difficulty. I do the same in Dragon's Dogma 2. I run around naked and use lower tier weapons.

    This is kinda random, I still can't believe that SUPAH really thought that the defender x module is bad during his Year 1 Operator Tier List. It gives 20% defense buff when blocking enemies, and stacks. This was for Hoshi too, and while the extra block on the Y module is really good, especially for the last stage of this current event where the 4 block Buggies gain invisibility on cm. The upgrade is bad because defenders in general are pretty much defense oriented.

    I kinda feel like Roberta could be in "weak" rather than "irrelevant" because she gets +1 starting device and not just increased cap - it can help occasionally when you're dumping devices as quickly as possible, and regen from S2 can't keep up (which likely isn't too common, but still). Thanks for stream, always interesting to hear your perspective on things like these.

    Estelle's buff may be weak, but that didn't stop me maxing her Module as soon as it dropped! I liked that it made her tankier, but I do agree that more damage would have helped her overall. I like to think of it as being a useful bonus against snipers, since ranged damage is her biggest issue.

    Awesome. My hope is that this can be used in conjunction with Dragon's spreadsheet (the lower rarities tab) to help prioritize. Because my brain has issues I've spent probably a collective 20 hours coming up with a formula that allows me to assign a number to every module I want for ranking their priority against each other so I know which modules to focus on. Lots of arbitrary constants determined through messing with sliders in desmos / trial and error, natural logs so some numbers don't have too big of an impact, normalization... just stuff no sane human should put time and effort into xD But it's cool because I made it work so you can completely ignore the Dragon stuff and provide your own scales for the weights and it'll all be internally consistent. The biggest challenge though... is how to balance lower rarity vs 6 star. I'm still trying to tweak the formula for this, not entirely satisfied yet.

      1 6 star is worth roughly 3.5 4 stars on normal maps. This is roughly the ratio you see in low operator records.
      This doesn't hold true in CC or other high difficulty maps.
      In CC value is all over the place and one good 6* that completely shuts down some mechanics can be worth more than 13 4 stars

    I find Myrtle's +1 block really helpfun for the start od the stage since I put her behind Ines, it lets Ines block more while Myrtle can get DP for more expensive units

      I find use for her sometimes too, but it's irrelevant 99% of the time because the other operator just kills everything block or no block

      I think there's something wrong with your Ines. For me it's very strange case, because everyone unlucky to be in her attack range either getting murdered right away, or ending up giving you enough dp to deploy any other op.
      I think flagbearers module really makes a difference only for Saileah, who always can stay on the field and actively help killing stuff from someone's back.

    Actually love myrtle module cuz i can use it to brute-force a specific operator in a lane
    I often want to use a specific character out of stubbornes cuz I like their kit, but they would normally not be able to block everything...
    Can't count how many maps that was relevant for Chongyue or Bagpipe

      My exprience is that I just press bagpipe s3 and literally everything dies for so long that I have my entire squad deployed by the time the skill ends.

      too minor to bother with a vid, also u can't pick ur pots all that much.
      In short u want pots on vg's so u can deploy them early, beyond that Indigo benefits a lot from the extra % bind, the rest are all comparable value relative to the operator itself.

    Genuinely shocked at how low you rated Roberta, I've had chances to use her a lot and I always felt like she contributed a ton. Especially in events like Il Siracusano where you're dealing with Silencers and Roberta by herself can tank S tier silencers by herself as long as you have any healing at all on her. Specifically, the "Only the shields matter" comment is what surprises me I suppose.

    Also I'm kinda mad about Estelle. Vulcan and Hung's module also reduce damage, but they affect phys, arts and even true damgae as well. For some reason only Estelle (And Fuze) get cucked and it only applied to phys.

    disagree with rope module her 44% dodge and ability to be deployed on ranged tiles makes her super strong as a 10 DP cost lin. ropes effective hp doubles, she can tank 3-4 ranged and if you have a healer you 90% of cases can just rope over lin. I have both lin and rope E2 M3

      No, it doesn't work for liberators (nor other flagbearers currently using a skill). Their "can't block" trait overwrites all block gains from effects such as flagbearer module or heidi.

    myrtle module is bad tho if u need +1 block on cc with 0 block for whatever reason she can do that which is pretty funny

    You think it would have been better if Luo Xiaohei got a talent that's like "deal 120% dmg against enemies with more than 50% of their max hp"? Cuz it actually deals with the problem he has, being that he can't proc his additional dmg with s2.

      Another issue is that his s2 has a relatively short duration so if he spends half of it to lower an enemy below 50% hp there is onle 10 seconds left to do real damage.

      @@DrSilvergun yeah, that also is pretty problematic. What do you think is the effect that could fix his issues? Also, you think 120% isn't enough? S2 is an atk multiplier, right? And a pretty hefty one, I'd say. Almost double his normal atk.

      Depends on what you intend with "fix his issues" For what the module system is the module he got is reasonable. Granted a straight dps increase of about half of what he gets when under 50% hp will benefit him more but that's a bit boring. If you're looking to fix the op ignoring the module system restrictions I think he his biggest issue is that his talent doesnt't fit him and he needs a diffrent one.

I feel like a lot of operators get this treatment, where they have skills and talents and traits that don't synergize together. I "feel", cuz I haven't actually looked into more ops that gets designed like this. Can only think of two, being Luo himself and Meteor, who got def reduction skills, yet have a talent that specialises in anti air. But I can't really think of skills that actually synergize with anti air talent, or talents that synergize with def reduction skills.

      Apparently, I thought wrong. Luo s2 has an atk multiplier of +70% at m3. For some reason, I thought it was 95%.
