It is very difficult to organize such a great event. After the pancharatna keerthana was over, there was utter confusion, there was no discipline among the crowds, the singers were busy for photos. There should be complete discipline and well behavior even after keerthanas are over. The bhagawathadas should behave orderly. Very sorry to mention, it was completely absent.
These singers sing for money and fame those days singers like ms subbulakshmi tanjore Brinda semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer sang genuinely with pure devotion .
Yes those days were golden days devotion and Devine. But we should appreciate that they are continuing without interruption. Nowadays they are make up idols....posing for videos and show business....
Yes.i am also a musician, this is my 20th year participation in the sadhguru Tyagaraja aradhana festival at thiruvaiyaru. When kunnakudi sir was the secretary, he used to call all the artists for a rehearsal. But after sometime, it was impossible. Nowadays we,who know all 5 pancharathna krithis are asked to sit in a second row, first to is full of musicians with popularity wise,cine fame, political influence. Very sad to see these politics. A small girl, last year was sitting with me,who doesn't know even varnam in the front row, this year the office bearers made her sit opposite to us,with a Mike too!she is the daughter of some magistrate court judge "s daughter (ariyalur near trichy) So,true devotee like mr&others ignore these politics, sing all five pancharathna krithis, pay homage to saint Tyagaraja swamy. When kunnakudi sir was alive, some of the patrons, office bearers used to sit behind musicians, but nowadays they occupy the front row with musicians!

No proper lead vocal after Kunnakudi Vaidhyanathan Sir , singing in a very slow tempo especially Jagadananda karaka , No standard at all for the past few years especially from 1:28 violin is going on its own track and at 1:30 before the anupallavi started the violin started it ,literal disrespect to Thyagaraja singing in such a slow tempo
