- During the "20 Years Down & Dirty" tour in Munich we accompanied Jaska Raatikainen of Children Of Bodom on the drums.
Jaska is a very talented musician and drummer and by our drum cam you can peek into his playstyle, his setup and the songs.

I think Everytime I Die and Angels Don't Kill might be least difficult songs to learn on the drums for Bodom.
Depends on how advanced you are in playing drums.. If you wanna play Bodom you should be decent I guess and if you got some double bass stamina I'd say Lake Bodom for example is way easier

Why does he have two kickdrums but uses a double pedal? Am I missing something?
The second bass drum is just for looks. He's always used a double pedal.
It's easier for playing live, time's limited when setting up your drums and doing a soundcheck.
Using only one kick drum like this is easier and faster, you don't need to tune the second kick drum the same as the main one, which sometimes can be a real pain in the arse.
