Now time for the real advice: follow the team, the noobs will never go where they’re supposed to. never push first, noob teammates will let you die even though your winning 6v3.

6 years of experiencing this map can be pretty complicated for me and can only determine how good or really bad the team is.
It would make most sense for lots of tanks to move up the hill where there is high ground advantage no matter what type of tanks you are but if you are a heavy tank that drives slowly up the hill, take the city and climb from the other side to flank.
If there are more heavy tanks in a match of Middleburg,the tanks at the hill should either scout and flank or support the heavies in the city which is okay for me as long as you stay behind them. I recommend teams to stick to together do not abandon your teammates (unless they are AFK) and don't act stupid by playing lone wolf because its been tried there, its has failed there.
This is the dumbest advice I have ever heard!

This comment is why I always see e100s flanking round the far side of the map for a 3 minute flank that by the time they get there everyone else is dead.

It Should have been 'Mistake #1 Don't charge 4 enemy tanks head on in a light, or medium' which I see far too often and they should have shown heavies SIDESCRAPING which is a necessary skill for town on this map.
Still doesn't address all of the tier 3 players with tier 3 skills and tier 3 stats that are inundating upper tiers with their complete lack of experience, game knowledge, and toxicity. Down voting these players does nothing to make them aware or accountable for ruining the match, and subsequent teams because they refuse to learn in lower tiers. Well done War Gaming. You continually encourage, promote, and allow non-skilled players to ruin the dedication and work of others. You expect the players to learn from their mistakes but you refuse to do so yourself - which sets a bad example and precedence for expectations.

i love how the wz113 was the first heavy destroyed, thing is in just 10 games trying to get 100% crew i lost 109k credits bc i had to load gold bc i apparently cant pen an is7 frontally

You can easy surround the IS7 , and shoot properly the sides of it.
Any tank has good and not so good Abilities.
The WZ113 is not so bad
There are other ones, which are harder to learn

Hill is acutally a better place for armoured TD most armoured TD is slow in hill you can just farm damage from slope and the enemy is gonna have hard time hitting your weakspot like a copula or a
jageroo/jagdpanzer E100 cus lower plate is wide
You can just hulldown on the hill spawn and take some good shots
With your 170mm and middleburg is the most tactical map in my opinion
One heavy caps, 2 TDS cover base and the Noobs-Group of enemy on that fck hill is totally useless there. They get under pressure and have to leave that holy Hill with no plan

city is only viable on these following scenarios
1. Heavy lineups. if your team consist of 4-3 heavies that are slow like german hts and pseudo-ht like british td from death star line and US td
2. Ht advantage but mt/lt disadvantage. lineups that outnumbers their heavies but you only have 1 lt/mt on the otherside
3. coordinated team: tourney team that have coms like discord or (in such a miracle to happened) team that knows how to play and listen to callouts
4. Mid to late game: when you are winning and only quick tanks left

It's all good if you have more lights than heavies and thus the heavies will join you on thew hill. But if you have 3-4 heavies meaning it's a town battles, mediums please DON'T yolo into town. Stay on the flanks. People say town is useless. They're wrong, it is useful for teams with heavy advantage, but you gotta know your stuff or else you're dead.
Just hulldown as a medium that has good turret armor then your fine
Town is useful in supremacy only if you have significant heavy advantage, in encounter just climb the damn hill

Best tip for playing in the city is not going city you always want to go hill on this map especially on encounter
80% players normally go to hill at the beginning, but 20% of em prefer city

All hill is much better than going to town. I'm heavy tank user not a light or medium user... sometimes I played td.

Don't show your rear/stern of your hull. Use frontal armour to your advantage. And you M5 players, your mobility is your best asset. Hit and run
a little more realism is missing like the players that yolo does, the guy who just has a tier x tank sometimes I think they should put some requirement to play tier x

This can be possible for TDs with a turnable turret.
If you're using a TD without a turnable turret as like as a "Hetzer 38 (t)", "StuG III G", "Jg.Pz. IV", "E 25" or anything similar, you can neither sidescrabing nor shoot to the side. No, you will be as like as a brick of these houses in the middle of the streets. Or as cannon fodder, if you like to see this in this manner.
In my experience as a TD you need a good team with SPOTTING lights and mediums with the possibility to hull down (and use your flat silouette), paired with a wide view towards the enemy. And THEN you're able to farm damage and kills of the enemy.
The same is applicable for Black Goldville, Castilla, Yamato Harbor, Desert Sands, Port Bay, Destiny's Pearl.
