i love the sound. my problem is it does not fit me well coz i have weird shaped ears.hehe. it does not hold and keep falling

Hey... you know if the S10+ doesnt work with Buds live ? It seems to me that I cant use the features in Wear app noice cancel ,equalizer etc. The toggle on "button" stays grey.

How is the noice canceling?? Is it really as bad as they say or do you really hear less with noice canceling on??
@@dyon5152 let's say your in the bathroom that vent fan noise can be canceled but anything louder than that no.

@@dyon5152 If I'm listening to something and my wife speaks in a normal tone, I just see lips moving, but yeah, you can hear stuff, like a door close, typing, etc.
Please guys try to know how to wear them right. It took me almost 3 weeks to realize that I was wearing them wrong. I had to realize that the silicon tip that came with it was too small for me. I changed to the larger pair but still wore the buds wrongly. When I finally wore it right, I was like a deaf that heard sound for the first time. I was surprised how tightly and comfortable it sat. So tight, I slept with it, ran with it, yawned, chew, shook my head...
1. The silicone tip you choose is very important, don't just settle for the one that it came with.
2. Make sure the silicone surface is lying totally flat without any visible part peeking at you when you look at your ears.
Note: My mistake was that the silicone was not totally flat, I was always seeing a portion of it. I hope I helped. This really, really fits. It's surprising!
I actually changed it as soon as I got it. I still wasn't sure I was wearing it correctly. When I read your comment, I put the small ones back in and voila! Perfect fit, everything! So, thank you!

These ear buds were designed for people who do not like the feel of in ear, buds. They are not for those who want total outside noise cancellation. Many early reviewers of these were trying to wear them like regular ear buds.
The Buds Live suit my lifestyle perfectly. I use them whilst at work and they're great as they allow me to hear other people without having to remove them. The microphone is great which again is handy while at work and keeps my hands free. They take some getting used to actually putting them in but you can wear them all day and because of the design they won't cause ear wax build-up or damage to your hearing.

I just got my Buds Live yesterday and man hold up!!!! They sound waaayyyy better than what I thought. Sound quality is better than the Buds+. Don't get it twisted though, the Buds+ sound quality is good but the Buds Live have heavier / wider bass. Which to me is what the Buds+ lacked. Good review man!!!! I gotta disagree with your view on ANC. It does great for how small these beans are and for them not actually going into your ear. I think the ANC is great! I have the Sony WF1000XM3's and the ANC is amazing, sound is amazing but it's TOO DAMN UNCOMFORTABLE which ruins the entire experience! Just my take.
The bass is solid, I noted that. I beg to differ on overall sound tho. Mids sound a little "muffled" compared to the highs and lows
Have to agree with you with the sonys being to damn uncomfortable. Thinking of picking these up. How does the bass compare to the sonys? I'm all for deep rich lows.
How do you even hear a difference between noice canceling on or off. I don't hear a single difference

@@stugots84 Pick these up you won't be disappointed. I own the Sonys and for me nothing compares as far as sound depth and range but the Samsung buds sound incredible 👌. Just make sure you are wearing them correctly.
I think the fact that it allows a little sound to leak in from your surroundings is a good thing because it will allow you to be alert as to what's going on around you.
At first, I was struggling to put them in my ears and the sound quality sounded low. After learning how to properly put them in ear I am in love with the Galaxy earbuds. I'm glad I purchased them. The sound quality is amazing. I would highly recommend the Galaxy bud live ear buds.

I was having trouble at first getting them in my ears,but after watching this review and seeing how they are supposed to be worn I love them. My boyfriend gave them to me as a Christmas gift in my favorite color rose gold 😄. I didn't want to have to return them for something else, so I'm so glad I found this. with the galaxy buds live touch controls, i find that spacing the taps out abit more make the touches register almost 100% of the time. i used to have the galaxy buds as my main earbuds and was used to fast consecutive taps being registered, but the galaxy buds live prefer a little more time between each tap. i hope this was helpfull to anyone having problems with the touch controlls :)

The lag on the original Samsung buds was so annoying but fixed with the + and the live because of the labs in the wearable app and gaming mode sorts out video lag. I love the live buds they are so so comfy and the ambient noise is a great feature if using outside. Awesome buds
Thank you for the video!! I just bought them today (a year after you posted this video) for $109 on Amazon, and they arrive tomorrow. I'm super excited!! The buds I had before were the Alexa buds, but they only lasted a couple of months before I had to return them because they weren't charging properly.
Thank you for the great review. I just bought these. Over the last few years I have replaced my earbuds so many times because they hurt so much and ended up stopping wearing them altogether so I am hoping these will be a big improvement. I don't mind the noise as I still like to be aware of my surroundings. Can't wait to try them out later in the week when they are delivered.

I have the same collab that you have, and I'm enjoying these a lot. The thing i hate the most about my previous ear buds; when you sweat it creates at suction type affect. It feels like you're on an airplane, and that pressure is very uncomfortable. With these I don't have that problem. They are very comfortable, and I mainly use them while at work driving a tractor trailer, so being aware of my surroundings is perfect.
I love my buds live.. the point of these, is to have NO eartips. Ear clogging ear buds make my ears feel clogged, and sweaty. I love the sound, fit, and overall style of these. If you like sweaty, ear cloggers, don't get these. (But, l knew the design, its what I wanted.)
I personally find silicone in-ear tips very uncomfortable and unwearable for longer than 10-15 minutes. I'm so glad that this design is becoming more widely available!
Good job buddy. So far no one has ever tried to explain how the active noise cancellation might work against the low noise.
I just got the Mystic Bronze ones as I have been stalking them for quite a while. My biggest reason for purchasing these is because I'm one of the minority, I believe, because I can't STAND those silicone things in my ear. It feels like I have my fingers stuck in my ear and feels horrible. I also like to be able to hear what is going on around me so I think these are going to be perfect for me. Charging them up for the first time and then going to try them out. Thanks for the great and informative video!
I think the sound like you say it is great bud being able to listen to your surroundings is not a bad idea. I kind of like this feature of the noise cancelation not being that powerful because I work in construction and I can listen to my music and stay alert at the same time.

I actually bought these a few months ago and I like the sound but I was having trouble getting them properly in my year. Samsung shows it as a rotation up which is really uncomfortable and doesn't give high sound. After watching this video, I realized they ideally should be pushed in and kind of along the back of your ear line (which is what I thought - as they felt more comfortable this way). I'm glad I found this video because other than the uncomfortable issue in the beginning, I really want to like these. Thanks for the review! That's a sub from me!
I ordered the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live early this morning at 3:30 a.m and Amazon delivered them at 10 a.m. this morning. I recently purchased a Samsung 55" Class S95B OLED 4K Smart TV (2022) and I am using the earbuds just for my television. Your video was helpful showing how to put these weird earbugs into my ears. I am currently watching Supernatural on Netflix and this earbugs are ok. The cost at both Best Buy and Amazon is $99.00 as of April 14, 2022.

I got to live Galaxy buds like two days ago and I truly love them I work in a loud place like a factory and to be honest I just like that you can hear other people talk and still listen to your music you don't want to not be able to not listen to other people talk especially when you're trying to hide the headphones it's really hard if you have headphones and you know you're trying to hide them but you're trying to listen to music at the same time and the music is overpowering somebody else talking. That's what's good about them I can use them and still hear other people talk..
I have a pair on the way. I watched another video with similar remarks as yours on the ANC. I actually look forward to the "LIVE" component, I jog in my neighborhood and I like being cognizant of what's around me. Also, Amazon has them for $129 right now. If everything else remains true, I should enjoy them. Thanks for the review!

Got mine for a gift..I use extreme volume booster app..it does wonders on these buds
I just bought a set. The sound is impressive and the ANC is useful.
I personally prefer Momentum 2 or Sony for noise cancelling. But another commentor mentioned how he drives trucks and the LIVES block out just enough but still let him be aware of surroundings. I thought that was a perfect use case scenario
@@TEQREATION working in a factory with damn loud machines, having anc on blocks the noise to like 70% and it is a huge difference compared to not having it on

You nailed it !!! I saw your video, and it helped me to make a decision on my purchase of the earbuds live. I do love them !!! I just need to try to change out the rubber to see if they will fit me just a hair tighter because you are dead on with the light/ loose feeling. They need to hold just a little bit better.
I love them so much!!! I think a lot of reviews I've ready where it hurts people's ears, blows my mind. I think they are wearing them wrong. I have very very small ears and could never wear earphones because of the pain it's caused me, even with the smallest of fits. These are not exactly meant to go into your ear canal.

I fall asleep with these in my ear often and sometimes awake forget them in my ear.
Since the live, the buds pro are just orgasmic to listen to. Those dual drivers are just a pure joy to listen to, if y'all haven't upgraded to the buds pro then I highly suggest it.
Damn the note 20 ultra looks so sweet in your hands. Might have to go for it now that these guys do not want to give us a newer note device next year.
The touchyness if the tap, as you say, is a bit annoying but workable for sure!
The buds live are great, they are the only ear bud that feel secure in my ear and the sound is great. The noise cancellationi perfect.
I just purchased these today. I have small ears and like earbuds that cancel out any unnecessary sound in the background. Can't wait to try these with my Samsung S7 tablet.
We bought them for my step daughter they hurt her ears so she gave them back. The first thing i noticed was how crappy the noise cancellation was. Which i guess is both a blessing and not one. Like i wont have to take them out when checking out at a supermarket. But... i will still hear everything while not wanting to.
I like how lightweight they are. It feels like nothing is in my ear. The bass is amazing over all i like them for back up while my wireless beats are charging

Dude you didn't answer the only question I actually had about this product. What all of touch controls are.
These buds don't have a proximity sensor. That's a bone induction sensor that picks up your voice vibrations in your skull and matches your voice. Then the 2 exterior mics are used to block out anything that doesn't match your voice.

Your video is very informative regarding the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live. However, what about using the Samsung Galaxy Buds on a 55" Class S95B OLED 4K Smart TV (2022)? Earbuds use is not always about cell phones. Some people use them on their Samsung Smart Televisions with Bluetooth. I wish you do a video regarding television use.
I got mine on Saturday. I picked these up with Amazon Prime and paid $139.99. I really love the audio quality when I listen to music, I can get the base response I want. The call quality is super amazing. I can whisper and still be heard clearly by my caller. Great video by the way. My true test will be tonight when I attempt to cancel my husband's snoring.

I'm having extreme difficulty trying to figure out how to make it sit comfortably in my ear.
I was having that issue and it turns out that the part with the wingtip doesn't sit in your ear canal it sits at the top of your ear. See if that helps

I've got these ordered and on the way (free with my phone pre order). I'm looking forward to them as they seem perfect for what I would use them for (working from home, podcasts while out, etc.) I have the Galaxy Buds Pro and the Pixel Buds series a but those both get very uncomfortable very quickly.

Bro I haven't had any issues with my bud's, the touch pad works as designed, the anc is incredible especially for a open back concept and best of all I can wear these all day, zero ear 👂 fatigue. I have recommended these to co workers and friends and not one of them voice any issues and they are all average tech users. Buy them and if you don't like it return them.

I think they just have to be placed in the right position to not hurt. I love these, but sometimes they start to hurt by the wingtip. I dont place them too tight in my ear and they feel much better that way.
Love em, my daughter bought me a pair for christmas last year and use them everyday! Sucks i lost the left one last week😶
No mention as to ease of use with a full face helmet. I bought them for the low profile and it seems like they'll fit nicely while putting on and taking off my helmet. Of all the earbuds I've seen, these have the lowest profile without having something sticking into your ear. This is very painful with a helmet jamming them deeper when you put it on or take it off. I guess I'll know soon enough.
Go into your samsung phone under audio. There is a EQ. You can go on presets or custom if you don't like the audio you are currently experiencing.
This was a great vid. I think for me as I listen to podcasts and audiobooks that the design is first and foremost. I appreciate the vid
Bought Galaxy Buds Plus.
They are great, but not for retail work.
Buds Plus seal too well.
I keep saying "uh?" Even with ambient on high.
And the anbient picks up on my voice, music, and other sounds over the human voice, so even if I turn up ambient, voices stay @ the same level. Not good while waiting on customers.
Ears get really sore with in-ear design after 6 hrs.
Everything else on Buds plus was great, but...
I'm going to try the Buds Live for work and comfort reasons.
I just watched the video and it was very helpful. I should have watched before I purchased these buds with my new S22 Ultra. I was on the verge of taking them back to the store because they would not stay in my ear but your video showed me that I was wearing them wrong, so thank you. I missed the set up step when I opened them so I didn't know all of the functionality, so again your video was very helpful. I'm not really an ear bud person but I'm going to try using these and will let you know how I like them.
Apart from listening to music , I was actually trying to find the best ones for phone calls , and I hope these will do justice,,, so this video that I just watch has convinced me to buy,,,, can others comment if I'm spending my money wisely? Thanx

I've owned the icon-X, Galaxy buds, buds+ and now the Galaxy buds live in Mystic Blue, I really love the bass and I don't have to use a bass boost app to get it.
I miss my ICON X buds they dont makem anymore
@@Jeff-mn2ws I don't, the left bud went completely out after 2 months of use and I had to send them back to Samsung so instead of replacing them they sent me $150 to purchase a new pair but then I've already head received the free buds when I pre-ordered my S10 then in May of this year I got the red buds+
I agree with you about most, personally I wouldn't be comparing them to the in ear types like the Buds+
I call The Beans the best all round earbuds I have ever tried.
I was seriously surprised with what Samsung has achieved with these open style buds when it comes to sound quality.
For immersive music experience I would still reach for the Sony wf-1000xm3 or B&O E8 2.0
It's personally not my cup of tea. I applaud the engineering, but I just can't "escape" with the galaxy buds live. Sound quality is impressive for that style though
I was watching your video with both buds live headphones in and i realized that it not only has good sound but you can move your head around and it alters the amount of noise coming from one side or the other . So i suppose i can say that they adjust the noise you hear depending on the directions you're facing when you put them on
Another person who doesn't understand that the ANC for the buds live is not supposed to block out everything . Blocks lows lets in highs , like advertised.

I have both (Galaxy + and Live), and my husband can *always* hear what I'm watching/ listening to when I'm wearing the Live. That said, I would be more inclined to wear the Galaxy + in public for courtesy reasons etc. Otherwise the weight, fit, and sound of the Live is dope.
I like because work places will not let you have the ones going in the Ears I've tried many bone conduction types that don't go in the ear directly.
I love them so far light great sounds. I guess I have never used noise cancelling before. The noise cancelling is amazing. Lol.
Well, there are two kinds of earphones, there is half in-ear and in-ear. Half in-ear earbuds as known as earbuds are designed to just sit on your ear. The sound quality is not as good as the in-ear one, but you can still be aware of your surrounding. If you want to be a bit isolate and have better bass, you should choose in-ear earphones, aka earphones. This Samsung galaxy buds live is a half in-ear design.

I got some and they tend to hurt my ears so I thought I was wearing them wrong and I wasn’t. I found its more comfortable to switch ur L and R and turn them around 😭 its louder that way as well

totally agree on this....right when u said regarding the touch controls.....it feels like ur finger needs to touch the whole surface....just to know it already activated....Sound quality is dope....BASS sound is excellent....Good review tho...
Whenever I need to block sound I turn up the amplification on a volume boosting app I had to download in order to experience the true power these buds have. Without this app I wouldn't have kept these buds.

If you use your whole hand or 2 fingers to use touch control you'll never miss a tap. But I just want to know what's so hard about learning where the touch sensor is.
