Okay, so, bosses and mid-bosses leave blood behind when killed, even Cooper leaves his corpse behind, despite you seeing them disintegrate into dust just before like any other monster.
This actually has some lore in-game.
During the neutral route, if you kill Seally, Stitch, after his brief shock, explains that the blood couldn't have actually come from her, that monsters don’t bleed, and that something suspicious is going on.
In addition, during any run, what appears to either be blood or potentially ripped up curtains are seen around the circus tent, but is probably unrelated to anything.
Maybe the “blood” could be an artifact of the determination given to Cody through Flowey. Perhaps it could even be from the virus passing through the underground. In fact, perhaps determination could be the virus, retroactively explaining Undyne’s superpower.
We’ll need the next chapters to truly solve this mystery, but I'm excited for whatever they have in store.

This might be the meanest Genocide Route I've ever seen. I've lost count of how many times I've destroyed the Underground at this point, and there were a couple moments where even I felt kind of bad.
I was also so happy at the reaction to seeing the slide puzzle, I really hate slide puzzles and that one took me forever. I never realized you could switch without sliding though. Normally you can't do that.
Holy crap, I totally missed the arcade room somehow! Not replaying two chapters for that, but still it was cool seeing it.
While it was a bit more manageable holding X to slow down, I still feel like the final attack safe-zone should have been a pixel or two bigger. It just felt a little too precise.
As for how to do the playthroughs, given how long it can be between chapters, I'd say it'd probably be best to do them both before the next comes out, but also breaking them up a bit so you don't end up going through the same areas twice in a row and such unless you are really in the mood after your first playthrough.
And remember; just because your SOUL is full of kindness doesn't mean you have to share it with anyone~

Undertale Green has a genocide battle theme called "Battle Theme Intensifies". It plays on Snowdin if you are in genocide. [21:36 instead of 2:51(and this is called "Battle Theme")]
