I would love to see a more in depth review/set up/cost break down of the dtf printer when it comes. I also do sublimation printing and have been considering getting into apparel but I feel like sub prints on shirts aren’t as bright as they could be. I do think dtf is the next big thing like sub was 5 years ago.

Thank you for sharing your sources for pins! I’ve been wanting to get into pins but I’m always afraid of the quality and most people don’t want to share their sources.
The pins are gorgeous! I've actually been considering going through a third-party to order bulk enamel pins because working directly with a supplier seems to require a little more involvement. There are a few here in the US that I've considered. Also, I'm loving the playlist in this vlog!!!

Omg I’ve had the same issue with my sticker manufacturer!! The quality has gone way down and luckily found someone that has better options at a more affordable price with no minimum amount either!!
I greatly appreciate you sharing your manufacturers lately. I know this and vograce are sponsors, but it’s been helpful for my small shop. I want to do enamel pins but that’s something in the future because they’re incredibly expensive to make unless you buy massive quantities! I can’t blame you for stopping it especially if the quality wasn’t there. Glad you’ll have them back in your shop, enamels are so cute and fun.
I also prefer matte stickers, I think gloss can be too much and takes away from the design. Matte looks and feels nicer.
Also with dtf you could also offer custom shirts or even make things for other businesses too. Super rad you’re expanding like that!

I have just ordered a dtf, made sure to get the ones that have the automatic stirrer for the white colour as some don't come with it and the white is prone to always clogging up and messing the machine up
Ooo I didn’t get one of these we have to manually shake them buttt we got a cheaper converted one to start to see if it works for us! Good luck with yours! It’s a massive learning curve 😅😂

If your studio gets dusty too fast, maybe the air filters need to be changed to higher grade... Or also you could get an air purifier specifically for dust? :)
Best way to end my day! Your always inspiring me with how your doing your business and making me motivated in actually getting my masters course work done 😅 this way I can finally start to work on setting up my business. I’m a little nervous about it since I’m setting it up from scratch (although my mum is going to be a partner in the business too) but I believe it’ll be the right path for me. Plus I’ll be representing Yorkshire too :)

How do you use the circuits on those shelves though? Do the shelves slide out? It looks like there isn’t enough room to open the lids there. Do you just store them there and put them out somewhere when you use them?
I don’t usually open the lids on the top! I hope there’s enough space lol I still haven’t used them but we will soon find out this week 😅😂🤣

You're definitely not the first creator to mention that your tried-and-true manufacturers are declining and becoming inconsistent. I feel like they don't know their limit and end up taking on too many clients with no plans/knowledge on how to scale up their processes. I understand wanting to grow as a company and earn more money, but if you're not expanding your workforce and manufacturing capacity to match, you're choosing quantity and sacrificing quality just to get the orders out of the door. Once you start losing clients due to constant mistakes, you're not really making more money... and might even be losing it in some circumstances.
This happened to me with my stickers!! I was so disappointed because it’s a waste of money and effort. Luckily, I found a new business that’s more local to do it for me!
@@mrs.quills7061 Yeah, I hear it's happening across the board. There's one popular company (won't name but starts with a P, iykyk) that is actually not only sending incorrect and/or poor-quality orders, but they're also starting to delay refunds or outright refusing them in some cases. It's sad to see when so many people depend on these companies to keep their own companies running.
Yeah! It’s happened to me for around 4 manufacturers now! 🥲 it’s a bit of a pain cause then I have to find a brand new one haha I end up procrastinating! 😅😂

what size is your go to for backing cards like this. On you patron do you have classes or offer one on one classes on making them. I have been using index cards that I print in for backing cards. but would love to setup my backing card game. I love the thank you cards.

I use business cards for my enamel pins! I found they are before size hehehe I get them from printed.com but it’s honestly hit and miss from them I’ve been having so many issues!
I reckon you've forgotten the cost of ink...and how frustrated you got sometimes with the cricuts...At home on a domestic printer, it costs. When you're outsourcing printing -for quality - you need to know what the company is printing with. Some companies are just using colour photocopiers I found, but some are using top of the line Industrial wide formats. Plus you don't want to waste time doing nothing but cutting and printing do you? Those DTG's are ridiculous prices - the only real choice is Epson or Roland. But I think your getting a DTF is genius. Way more feasible. Can't wait to see what you come up with

Was just watching @cotswoldandco talk about their DTF printer. Their transfer products are very cool and cute
