- Making and Adding Beads to My Suffolk Puffs - Chatting as I sew
Welcome back to my channel.
I am making some lovely Suffolk Puffs and adding beads and sequins. I would like to use them as embellishments for my slow stitching projects.
I am finding sewing very relaxing at the moment. Especially as I have been under the weather, I just needed a nice peaceful craft to keep my hands busy!

Enjoy your video’s and I love making yo-yo’s so it was nice to sit & watch you make them and just have a lovely chat as if you were sitting here with me 🥰🌷❤️🌺
Hi you could never be boring. I so enjoy your videos
My grandmother taught me to make those 65 years ago! They were called yo yos then. I remember I made a clown with them. Wish I still had that thing. Ugly as heck but oh the memories. ❤️❤️❤️😁
Absolutely beautiful. Love the color of the puffs and the beads make it look gorgeous. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I learned to make them as a little girl then started making them again several years ago then forgot about them. 😊Yours are gorgeous, I love them. They will be fabulous on journal covers, tags, etc… I adore stitching on little beads and things too. Thanks for sharing! 💕🌸💕🌸💕
Hi, Gi, I’m sorry you’re still under the weather, you take the time to relax & take care of yourself! Those are beautiful little flowers & will be gorgeous on your journals! Stay safe! Hugs!❤️
My mom taught me how to make those a long time ago. He made a whole quilt out of them. They are very pretty Gi.
I love going to charity shops as well. I think these would be great on a clutch hand bag that's plain, they would dress it up wonderfully, retro vintage, if you will. I so enjoyed this video, it's quite calming and enjoyable, thanks for sharing Gi! !!!😊🏵
Beautiful flowers! I love the bling in the centers especially the green beans (beads). 😆 I’m loving your slow stitching crafting. 🩵
So enjoy watching your videos! They are so relaxing! It's like we are actually sitting together having tea and a bit of crafting! 😌
Wouldn't that be lovely thing to do Cindy, Hugs Gi x
I stopped everything I was working on and started making these! They are wonderful!!
How lovely ❤
Lovely little flowers. Georgeous colour. I love making these whilst watching TV in the evening. I find the gravy granule plastic lids the perfect size to use as a template for the larger flower and the pringle plastic lids for a slightly smaller flower which i sometimes sew on the top to make a double flower.
They’re gorgeous
These are really neat. I have never seen them done before. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to try some.
You’re doing an excellent job! 🫶🦋
I hope y start feeling better soon. I enjoyed seeing you make these and I also enjoy listening to you. You have a soothing voice and soft way about talking. I need to make a bunch of these and have a little stash of them too for some different projects. I love finding things that people have made but have never been to a craft fair but always wanted to.😊❤
These are lovely. While I used to make these it has been a very long time ago. I think, as you say, I'll give it a go. Have a wonderful weekend.
That fabric is fabulous. I love it. You never know what you can find at the thrift shops I love the decorated yo yos! They are so pretty Gi. ❤️💖
I could never master yo yo's mine were always a mess. Yours are absolutely beautiful ❤ I love them Gi.
How gorgeous they are, haven't made these since I was a little girl💙🪻🩷
Hi Gi,those are sooo pretty 😍,i've been watching you for a while now and i never get bored watching you also love listening too you have such a calming voice 😊 xx
Hi, Making Suffolk Puffs is like eating peanuts - - - once started one cannot stop 😂😂 ❣❣
What lovely little yo-yos! Was quite relaxing watching you make these. I have some dusty rose shabby satiny wrinkled material that would make pretty ones! Thanx so much Gi. Take care..hugs❤
That would make beautiful ones, Hugs Gi x
Loved watching your video Gi 👍❤
These look so easy, but then you make everything look easy! But I have to give it a try, they are so beautiful. I’ve started slow stitching lately, but I have never sewn before at all! Hugs ❤️🤗
These are so beautiful, thanks for sharing your creativity with us🌻
Beautiful puffs.
Lovely, jeweled yo yos. I think you do have velvet pieces. They look like silk velvet on camera. Anyway thank you and take care Ms Gi❤xoxo
Really gorgeous!

👍👍💕💕
Gi, your color choices are fabulous!! I'm trying to dial back the color tones! Are your choices more "mauve" tones? I'm loving the little sewing to do's in the evening!
Thank you so much, yes I tend to go for the mauve, pink, purple colour palette. I love the green seed bead. I think they make it look a little vintage. Hugs GI x
