Just came across your channel today and subscribed as this is the best reality channel for dump trucking, i started out with buckets in 1978 and still doing it, i did over the road for a few years but came back to dump trucking and have two trucks at the moment. A W-900L transfer dump truck and a 379EH quad axle up here in Washington state. Nothing better than dump trucking. I started out with a DC cab Autocar that had a 5X4 stir stick set-up and then a mack RL-700 transfer set-up my advice to new guys is drive for someone for a few years and learn every aspect of the business dont just drive, get to know your equipment and everything its capable of doing and triple check everything and learn how to spread material and stay on top of the maintenance and keep the truck clean inside and out as your representing who you are as a driver or owner plus its easier to detect defects of any kind but mostly operate safely and no matter what the next person does always keep a cool head and be totally in control of what your doing, always do your MVI's and drain your air tanks daily men, nothing worse than brake faliure due to contaminated air systems. Okay this old trucker is done rambling on so everyone be blessed and stay safe 10-4.
