I grew up on this lake and all I caught fish on is spinnerbaits crankbaits and trick worms, finesse worms
I seen rick clunn talking about toledo not long ago he seen it before they flooded it in 1969 he said a squirrel could go across it and never touch water or land it had so many trees in it and most are still there to this day ..id have a field day on that lake i love timber..awesome vid scott

FYI there is no size limit on the spotted bass on Toledo Bend. Not sure if there was for the tournament though.

I'm cool with FFS but I do have to agree I miss watching different ways of fishing. It seems like the last few tournaments all everyone has done is dance freeloaders in fish faces.

Wouldn't it be easier to control distance and accuracy using FFS with a BFS baitcaster? I don't have experience with FFS, I am just wondering, since it seems like it's all about the precision of the cast.

Toledo Bend is 183,000 acres, not 138,000. I hung around with your dad after the tournament in 1970 until he left to go to the next event.
