Dr Devi Shetty, Chairman, stated, "Health insurance can be best managed by healthcare providers." The plan offers a 1 crore benefit with a 10,000 crore premium, targeting working-class families. The initiative aims to transform health insurance, emphasizing affordable surgeries and disease prevention incentives. Dr. Shetty added, "Currently, there is no incentive for preventing diseases; we need to offer incentives for prevention." Narayana Health plans to collaborate with other major hospital chains soon.
