They should have made a video for this song. Heck they had one for this album but not this song. I think it might have included stuff from stop the bleeding album also. But I might be wrong as it's been almost 30 years since I owned the video.

I found one that speculated and gave 5 possibilities as to what is said. I have always loved this song, had the tape back in the day. But I feel incomplete without knowing. lol
Tourniquet has just released a new remaster of Psycho Surgery and it has this song live as a bonus track, sung by Guy Ritter. The ending is more audible there and it seems like he sings "I can hear you now, cause I listen now, what, what a son, what a son". You can check it out on Tourniquet's Bandcamp page.
