She became his owner they formed a good bond and fought in war.In one war Megan and Rex got blew up but they survived (it wasnt an automatic landmine it was a trap) Rex had minor damage but Megan had mediocre damage done. After Megan retired she began to have PTSD and freaking out. One time she freaked out over a dog barking in a car! She recovered in therapy and Rex was retired and they reunited! It was a great movie!
