To Silent Mike I am sorry that you suffer from depression but what help me was DBT. I suffered more then 40 yrs of depression. I found DBT from a therapist and it's the best thing to do. I haven't been depress since then.

Hey, I like reiki lmao. It may be placebo, but either way it relaxes me. Especially Reiki ASMR videos. Also, Reiki originated from Japan. It was taught by a Japanese man who brought it to the US. I think it's because so many white people practice it that we assume it's something some hipster made up.
I'm a skeptic and my friend did a reiki treatment for my back pain, it was really tight up. To my surprise, it worked. I kid you not, my back felt much lighter and the pain was gone after 2 days. My mind couldn't make sense of it. She didn't even touch me.

Relating very hard to Mike's mental health haha... high anxiety and depression. I'm on anti-depressant/anxiety and weed (which I'm slowly cutting back on) lol. For anti depressants or anti-anxiety medication, it can take about a few weeks to a month for your body to adjust. During that time, anxiety or depression may get temporarily worse (which has happened to me). I think that's one reason as to why they have those listed as side effects.
There's also something called emotional dysregulation that is pretty common in people with ADHD and BPD. There are more boys diagnosed with ADHD than girls, but at the same time, women are very under diagnosed (same with ASD). A lot of people associate ADHD with hyperactivity almost exclusively, so the kid bouncing all over the walls is more likely to be diagnosed than the space cadet keeping to themselves when both could have ADHD. Most often, women are diagnosed with the inattentive (space cadet) type. It's very common for people with ADHD to also have anxiety, depression, and problems with addiction

As a chiropractic student, i didn't enjoy the over-generalization of chiropractors in this video:( We actually have to finish a 5 year degree (including a master's degree) to become a chiropractor (in Australia). Sure - there are wanky chiros, but a lot has changed throughout the years and everything we learn now are evidence based.
I gotta say you're in a field where the majority, or very loud part of chiropractics is extremely psuedoscience. If you follow any actual science based practitioners and fields, you see this more and more often. The animosity against those types of practitioners in this episode is for that reason. Bart even acknowledged that there are some good chiropractors out there, but unfortunately, the vast majority of the popular ones are commonly regarded as quacks in the science based community.
Coming from an exercise science(strength & conditioning), physical therapy, and dietetics backround btw.
