Lookin' good! Painting is one of our most hated jobs, but it was fun watching Angela paint :)
Thanks guys!
Come on Angela. Let Sam put window molding. Put up some cute little curtains and stencil your logo. Sam let Angela get vinyl flooring. Loving it.
I agree. Finish it properly and you will be happy you did. Yes, get proper flooring.
And make a deeper window sill for a shelf.
I like the idea of a deeper window sill for a shelf. I also think sheet vinyl is the answer for the flooring it will be so easy to clean up any soap making mess that end up on the floor
@@lorita3488 I agree with your idea. Finish the shed completely and you won't regret it.
I have to take Sam's side on this, trim and flooring would be awesome
Great job Angela!!! It looks bright and beautiful!
Looks so clean! Good job.
I thought you were clever to put the paint roller in the plastic bag, but then you "rolled" it and really impressed me! Clever idea!
Sam Iâm glad that you want everything perfect because your work is beautiful! Angela, you go girl!đđŒđđŒđđŒđđŒđđŒ
Hope you had a happy holiday.
The soap shack is coming along nicely. Good job.
Maybe do sheet vinyl for the flooring? Cheap, easy to cut/lay, lightweight etc.
Also good for spills and clean up!
You have done such a beautiful job on everything and I think the vinyl flooring would be awesome and the molding around the windows would make it feel totally complete. A couple little valances at top would make it feel like a little kitchen area and a chair to sit and sip some sweet tea..............
I am a seamstress so I look at things in that way........LOL
Do what your heart tells you to do and what your budget can do. It's your space.
Everything looks wonderful ............it will be bright and cherry and a little bit of peace and heaven for you Angela to do what you do so so well.
Blessings and have fun finishing things up. :-)
You two make beautiful music together. Can't wait to see the finished product. Let the creativity begin.
I have been watching y'all on my big screen TV, now I have to go back on my PC and give you a thumbs up. I just love those ferral kids! Blessings
I love the bright white walls of the soap shack. Great job, Angela!
Looking Good, moving right along. That Angela is a hard worker, just like her hubby.
âșïž thanks!
I wish I had a Sam and Angela to help me with my remodeling! They do such good work.
Youâre doing a great job and your Soap shack painting it really brightened it up in there you guys make my day I enjoy watching you God bless
Yes, molding on the windows... Flooring will be important for keeping your space clean.. Looks great!
Itâs really coming together nicely.
Excited for finished âsoap ShackââŁïžâŁïžâŁïž
Speed calking, speed painting...,my favorite :) It's really coming along now. Will be interesting to see how the power gets hooked up. Yay!
Angela, I hope you and Sam enjoyed your holiday with the boys!đ
That made it very bright in there.
Looks amazing Angela and just let Sam fix the molding around the windows LOL either way it is going to be beautiful.
I vote for window moldings and linoleum. You will be so happy if you do it now, much more work if you get all set up and then decide to do it. It will really look finished, and be a pleasant place to work
It's nice to see somebody that knows how to paint it must run in her family she's doing a fine job I did it for a living he gave magnificent job love your Channel
Aww! Thank you!
Beautiful â€ïž Coming along,nice creativity! Awesome She,She,Shed!đđđđđșđžđâïžđ€
Love that it's getting to the end; Angela I know you're ready to get finished! Go ahead and let Sam finish the trim he was talking about, just for his satisfaction. It WILL look better, won't add a huge cost and he won't be fretting about the job not being finished.
There is new linoleum out that is thicker than the cheap stuff they used to sell. I love the wood plank patterns. Also, will add a cushion under your feet and a degree of floor insulation. Home Depot and Menards have it; you can look online at prices and what it looks like.
Congrats on a job well done!
Buttoned up nice and snug!! Good price on that primer :) Congrats on 30K, too!
Yay! đ„ł. Thanks!
Love it! The white makes it look larger.
Some people don't like to paint I do it relaxes me
Looking good.
It's your Business! Make it look beautiful! Customers buy with their eyes....
Put down porch paint in a color on the floor. It'll keep it strong and protected. I've done my sheds that way and really enjoy and am grateful for itđâŁïž sweeping is easy when the floor is smooth đ
Thanks for the paint roller and baggie tip. Awesome!
Youâre coming along great on that soak shack. The only suggestion I might offer is a small ceiling fan instead of just a ceiling light. This might come in handy next summer in the hot summer. But it sure does look nice!
We will definitely have fans in there!
I love the soap shack itâs going to be awesome, you should have called it the she shed soap shack.
Looking good guys. Soap shack is coming along nicely.
Angela, it looks awesome, great job
Guys, it's really taking shape and looking awesome! You too work so well together that it's refreshing to watch it all happen. BTW are ya'll on patron???
It looks great! So proud!
Looking good so far! Rome wasnât built in a day! God bless and happy new
Love the soap shack!!
LOOKING GOOD SAM AND ANGELA!! I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT VIDEO. GOD BLESS Y'ALL
Great job! Love the saving paint roller tip.
Nice job guys! Digging the new shades Sam!
good evening Sam and Angela, I hope you and the boys had an exceptional Merry Christmas .
It looks fabulous!! Thanks for the new video!
Nice job, it's going to be great soap shop. You could go crazy and speckle the whole floor with different colors, using acrylic craft paint and squirt bottles, the boys could do the squirting, with supervision of course. My grands and I did one on oil cloth, we had a great time, just make sure you cover the lower portion of wall with plastic or cardboard, to keep the squirt marks on the floor. Just an idea. love you guys
Can't wait to see your soapmaking process.
You guys are so real I love it LOL
Everything turned out wonderful... Very Motivating... Thanks for sharing...
I got my daughter your soaps for Christmas. LOVE THEM! Just the right amount of fragrance. Perfect â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Belated Christmas blessings
Looks great Angela
S'funny Sam, as you were doing the walls etc , I wondered if you would case the windows to finish them off .
definitely add the flooring if you can.
It's looking good. Too cold here for that kind of work. Temps outside right now are only 22 F and it was down to 14 F last night. We still have snow on the ground and had a white Christmas for the first time in many years. We even had snow on Christmas day.
You both are doing a great job. đ
Iâm laughing at the exchange and Angelaâs ânah itâs fineâ has definitely been my response to many a house projects with my honey đ
I've always wanted to try that ripped plywood flooring. Rip it 6" wide and lay er down.
Maybe in my next workshed.
Hmmmmm.. :)
I think you do need flooring...unfinished wood is very hard to keep clean. You are doing a great job...I'm so proud of you.
Thankfully this floor has already had a good coating of something out on when we bought it!
Nice job. Thanks for sharing the progress.
Also because I do Reno's like you guys in my experience laminate flooring or tile will be easier to scrape soap off with a blade. The vinyl flooring( sheet) will cut if you scrape with blade to remove soap build up.you will be standing long hrs so my advice would be a laminate with underpad .will save your back and feet. I'm certainly not critizing only advising as soap shack is your baby business so why not do it to standard of best comfort and presentation. It's not just a shack it's your business! Love the process so far! Look forward to seeing you thrive and prosper here!!
Angela, you did an excellent job! Give the feral children a bucket of paint and turn them loose on the floor.đ Y'all can video it, fun for the whole family.
Looking great..I agree clean floor clean house..or it at least helps it look cleaner! đ đđ»ââïžđŹđ§đ
I put my wet paint rollers in plastic grocery bags. It works great too.
Great tip!
The soap shack is looking so great! I can sense the conflict.....get âer done vs get âer done right. Angela I can see why you are anxious to move in but you are also going to be spending a lot of time there and you might find later that you had wished you did those extra steps like trim, etc from the start. You are so artistic and creative and while itâs a working space you might find you will enjoy your time there even more when itâs finished like you would your home. I canât wait to see how it all turns out.
You do make a great team. Nice work but the upper corner but Angela seems like it isnât nailed down enough. Canât wait to see the finished shack. đ€đœ
Working on it!
That looks good it donât have to be perfect itâs just working shed stuff going to get on the floor
looks good
I hate painting but sometimes it needs done
Looking really nice. once you touch up trim I would cover floor with something just for easy clean up.
Looks good!!! Can wait to get my shop in Feb.. you have given me some great ideas!!!
I brought lineoleum from homedepot- sheet rolls on the back wall in the store , it was reasonable. I used it for my moms bathroom and hallway for like $80 and it looks like a wood floor, easy to mop clean.
I can afford that! I do want it for the ease of cleaning!
It looks wonderful and you will enjoy working in it. I love watching you work together. You compliment each other, "and the two shall become one." Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2021, along with health and safety.
P.S. I've noticed and kept meaning to complement Sam on his weight loss. Good work Sir. Love your family.
I absolutely love it đ
I just read the comments and I think it would be a good idea to completely finish the painting and floor. Then it's DONE and you can get that thought out of your mind!! And concentrate on soap. A decal on the wall would look spiffy too. Then ... you can move in and move out at your house. Oh. And it would probably take only one more day.
Weâre thinking on what to do. âșïž
Loved the washcloths and soap I ordered! Looking forward to watching your business grow :)
It looks really good đ
I have found that an exam glove works just fine on the left hand for wiping caulk without getting it under your fingernails and such.
I have used baggie also but cut hole in end to put handle through. I like your idea better.
Looking good so far keep up the great work and thanks for the awesome content stay safe and take care
Put some rubber tiles on the floor just a thought Sam & Angela good night đŽ
Looking awsome
Great job!
You do good work!
Angela, you've waited patiently for the right time to have your soap shack...so be patient a tiny while longer and have the 'fancy shmansy' finishes...finish the windows, have lino in the floor (much easier to keep clean), have flower troughs under the windows outside...you work hard, make it lovely and a place you can't wait to go out to. It's not frivolous, it's your workplace and gives a good impression to potential customers. No, it isn't your bedroom, but, it will help to finance the redecorating of your bedroom...so make it somewhere you are proud of and happy to work in đ€âŁïžđ xx
Thatâs the sweetest way of putting it! Iâm so excited about getting in and getting started, that I feel like the finishing touches can wait a little. Itâll be cute and Iâll make it mine for sure!
Man... forget the Soap Shack guys. That's shaping up to be an Air B&Bđđ. Hoping all is well guys, Dirty Jersey out!!
Hope your Christmas was good and best wishes for the new year
Wonderful!! Merry Christmas.
Good job đ..
I love it
Try a putty knife to squish the caulk into your joints and cracks, they you can use the caulk the putty knife has on it in the next joint or crack - less waste.
Good idea. Thanks
I would have some window sills so I could have some house plants, hehehe
Good idea!!! đ
Yep, caulk in the corner of the ceiling next to the fart fan would look good.
Is there a Habitat for Humanity near you? If so, check them out for floor covering.
Have fun! Happy New Year!!! XOXOX
Love it Sam and Angela! Awesome job! Happy New Year!!
For me i would put molding around the windows and paint them my favorite color to add a pop of color. Linoleum would be nice on the floor, either the roll out kind or linoleum squares. Nice to have a subtle design it in also. I do love how bright it is inside, nice for working in. So happy for you Angela and I look forward to ordering more soap. Hubby is getting low. He has enjoyed the scents to the ones I have bought for him so far. Take care and be safe..
đI would of painted 1st then added the trimđEither way itâs looking goodđ
