I work for a jeweler and that’s very interesting on the return process for certified diamonds as it has an inscription.
Caring for the piece, I just use soap, water and a toothbrush at home. When I’m at work I quality check my pieces to make sure my diamonds are still secure, a dip in the ultrasonic and a nice steam.
This is a lovely gift for yourself! There’s so much research and thought put into this. Looking forward to seeing other pieces you get for your birthday

Not on any of my diamonds from Cartier. I don't think they have it, unless the diamond is 2 or more carats (mine is under).
Taking it back: all of Cartier gia diamonds have it. I just found the inscriptions on my diamonds, but they are very microscopic. Thank you for letting me know!!!
