just a tip....when you're done polishing, there's a glass cleaner call "sprayway" white can light blue cap...spray wheels and clean like glass.
there's no ammonia (streaks) and cleans a lil bit more

Awesome, I also learned after I did these wheels that if you scuff up the clear coat with a really light sand paper but don’t go through the clear. The stripping gel will work little better.

Finally a video on these Wheels! I'm doing mine now. Sanded mine they were already gone from neglect. Waiting for the polish wheels and we will see how it goes! Thanks.

You're the only video on CZcams that strip them. Aircraft stripper is more aggressive for next time.

Nice job! Thanks for the info. I have 19.5 inch wheels on my F450. Going to do this and make them shine!

Good job! Save a lot of work next time and cover the stripper to slow the drying, if it’s dry it’s not working, also it’s clear coated for a reason, aluminum is one of the fastest oxidizing metals out there.

Make sure you wear a respirator and eye protection while working with Zephyr Polishes. Pro 25 works well as a light polish and wax, pro 40 is great as a medium polish and wax.

Aircraft stripper works faster little bit more expensive but much better

Correct, I learned that a few days after I made this video.

It bothers me you didn’t remove the weights lol and for next time you can lightly sand the clear before applying stripper helps to penetrate and work faster

Who makes your small red electric buffer?

It’s a Milwaukee cause it was the only variable speed one I could find at the time. but harbor freight has a few variable speed ones that are a good bit cheaper.

if u have a black chrome wheel with clear coat peeling of if u apply this citris stripper tye color of the wheel wont come off right ?

I’m honestly not sure I’ve only put the stripping gel on aluminum wheels so far. If I ever run across some chrome wheels I will see about making a video on it.
