Love BreZ and thought he got robbed a couple of times in the past, but I think AVH definitely earned the win in this battle. I think one of the things that hurts BreZ in big competitions is too much emphasis on the rapping. I mean, that's a big part of what makes the style his own, especially when just making music outside of competitions, but it's hard to consistently get it right in comps.
Actually in that Battle too Brez was more enjoyable, more hype, better battler, more original and more potent. But it is what it is, mixing mistakes can make a champion a washout. Justlike what happened to dice against chris theodian. Rapping is kinda part of a style of him now justlike robin's or friidon's singing. It really helps filling the fast beats he make.
That missed note of AVH, it actually works in the key of the song, no dissonance to it and a sense of movement and almost ear candy to the last bar of the phrase. If anything I think it enhanced it for me

@@chrisblikelike2161 c'mon, there is a huge difference between AVH's first round (progressive trance) and Brez's first round (electro with rapping). They might have a few elements similar like white noise, but these rounds were completely different - you can't compare apples to oranges.
So disappointed by Brez. I thought that he would’ve come SO MUCH harder than this especially after losing for 2 years in a row. Make it 3 now and if he doesn’t learn his lesson this time, then just give it up Bro. I hate to say it.
