Grinning Ear-To-Ear, again...! Building any one of those War Birds would MAKE a guy get an airbrush, for sure! Haha!
Keep up ALL the Good Work designing and making those, as it is much appreciated by all of us, I'm sure.
Thanks to ALL the guys at Flite Test.
It was fun watching the build process. Thanks...
Dude! What a beautiful airplane! 😃
Amazing job!
Andres is back?? niceeeee. i've been seeing some suspiciously awesome foamboard planes in the background of some recent videos...
Awesome smooth flying plane!
Pleeeeeeaaassseee make a flight video about this plane!!! I love it!
My favorite build, and fly so far. I've built 3 of them!
i'm building one and it's going awsomely!
Is this the same guy from the slow flying p38 video? Love to see him part of the crew now kid has skills
Good to see you back Andres . Nice build on a great plane . Need some plans now !!
@@MrRichinil yes I had do do a little digging to find it because they did not advertise the plans on the page or in the description
Awesome Warhawk!!! Not sure about the "all business" videos... I miss the banter, and the tips and tricks.
And I think it's time for a P-38!!! 😎
@@trentinfield7903 Absolutely! They've proven a few times already that they can design Twin Boom, Twin Motor Aircraft...
Time to DO IT!! 😎
BTW, I have a strong feeling that the P-47 will be the next Warbird!!
@@trentinfield7903 The FT P38 Lightning is now OUT!!!! 😲😎😎😊😊
And it's a Master Series Kit!
You can also use heat shrink material as a collet for the landing gear wheels
Nice video. I know build videos are usually kept stock at the end, but I think Alex raised the bar by painting his Warthog. All I could think of during the maiden at the end is Alex saying "I honestly don't think I will fly any more brown planes". It's almost to the point where a quick paint job thrown in at the end with a paint scheme chosen by whoever performs the build should be mandatory before the maiden. Might show the ultimate potential of each build too. Cheers!
Our boi andres is back?!
I built this and put a C-pack motor on it. It is soooo fast and fun to fly. Everyone should build it and put the biggest motor they have on it. It's tons of fun.
That canopy would probably work quite well on the Spitfire too
all in all looks like a classic FT style warbird, with some neat deviations for better fit. I'm surprised nothing particularly crazy was done by you since you like to innovate Andres, but it still looks great! gotta buy a kit indeed...
You should also tell about the motor angle thrust adjustments.
Awesome build, thanks! Definetly make some iconic warbirds is a good idea. I'd like to see upgraded version of Spitfire (my favorite one) too ^^
They've been talking about the updated Spitfire - since the FT MUSTANG came out!!! 😲😖
I think it's going to be a John Overstreet Master Series Kit SOON!!
*WITH A NEW MUSTANG!!*
Beauty!
Never realized how truly simple these are
Any tips on how to put a set of retracts on this puppy? If not, are wire coat hangers rigid enough for what you did here?
Something looked off when you were first putting that prop on.
@@davidfigueroa185 I went back and looked closer. The prop reads: "CF Prop 30x10.5L". In fact you can see it on the bench in the previous scene. I'll bet the video editor didn't notice that they changed props between scenes?
Yep, that was a great touch, adding a bit of humor to the vid! LOL! FT fun, as always!
love the vides
The Mustang and spitfire get all the attention, its time for the P-40 to shine
Nice!
With several of your designs proven at my flying field, this P-40 being the latest and with the movie Midway now in the theaters, would you consider designing the Douglas SBD Dauntless. Here is a link showing just how solid your design work is even for this old flyer. Thank you. Jim
Will the tactical TTX403 4 channel 2.4Ghz SLT mini aircraft transmitter work with this
Do you have to have a two to 1 connector for the ailerons?? Might have been worth mentioning
I would love if you started selling poster board plans on the store! I have gotten the kits before and scratchbuilt as well and it would be great to not have to print and glue the plans to poster board for replacement parts.
You might know by now but they have always had free plans for each plane available located under the resources tab when on the specific models sale page
Yeah I have built tons of the plans but I always hate cutting out the plans and gluing them to poster board for when I crash and need to repair or rebuild.
I'd love to see you make the Wright Bros. plane.
Alan Smith itd be easier to replicate that thru balsa wood construction due to its odd construction
very entertayning
At 53:35, I had to laugh out loud! That prop would drive Peter's Ultralight!!!!
Great build....any free plans?
mirage 2000 foamboard build pls
Is it possible to use a 3 bladed prop and add a nose cone for a little more realistic look ?
I have a question. Where do you get that landing gear wire from? Most of the online stores are back ordered for your product. What gauge/diameter is it? Thanks.
would this work as a 3-channel since it has dihedral
#flitetest ......
I'm currently LOVING my P-40 Build!!! I wish Shark Teeth Decals in the correct size were available.
*HEY* - If you guys wanted to do something a bit more over the edge in Warbirds...
*HOW about the ME-262??* 😲😲😎 The way the Nacelles are tapered in the middle, you might be able to squeeze a 12 Blade 64mm EDF in those.
Could be awesome, and has such a Badass Iconic shape!!
Carmine ✈🚂🚙
Do you make a 1:6 scale (66" wingspan)?
Hi, I have been a long time viewer. you guys actually got me into flying airplanes for which I greatly thank you. That being said I want to learn how you guys design the airplanes. For example. What software are you using? How are using it? How do you go from a concept to something you can print out the plans of then cut them out of foam board and be flying before you know it. I would really appreciate if you can do a video or a series on that or if it is already out there just point me the direction. Again Thank you so much.
Not sure if you have already found a better way. If not you may look at these tutorials by Nic Lechner ( czcams.com/video/U-duqt8JjDI/video.html&ab_channel=NicLechner). Helped me understand the process.
What charger would you recommend buying for this build? I’m new to building and am not sure how to charge the battery
oooooooooo thats why it took so long, this was Andres' baby! okay, I apologize for my earlier impatience.
Pls make a Kit for BF109 F, G or K and one for the A6M Zero that would be awesome!
Those are nice to suggest, but I'd recommend the FW-190. Of these, the FW-190 had in actual flight, the best handling and easier to fly. ^_=
@@CrstnJdiKnight Making both would be nice :D For me the bf109 just looks nicer but the fw190 D-series is also very cool
Does it come with an rc remote
hello may I ask, what material is brown used?
Can you make the wheels removable?
It should have been part of the new "Master Series" builds.
Nice build as always! The only problem I had with the speed built kits are the control rods. Especially on the Edge but also on every other plane I feel like the simple Z bends on both horn and servo have too much play. I noticed this the most in fast flying and some 3D tries of me that the control surfaces are pretty wobbly and you feel this in the air... Maybe you could think about a more premium solution with better linkages included oin the kits in the future!
Does the speed build give you the materials
somthing looked of when you were putting the prop on
De cuántos mm es el foamboard ?
Is it possible to buy this foam board in the uk?
Bf 109 pls
Can anyone tell me what servo needs to be in what port?
Are you going to stock "Flying Tigers" Decals for this beauty?
GREAT design Anders!!! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Carmine ✈🚂🚙
....... and Anders, I felt like you should have had better editing....
NOT YOUR FAULT! Seemed to be some disrespect in that room.
Anyone for split flaps to go with a spinner? Should be an easy addition to do.
What material are you using?
I built one but it keeps flipping over when taking off. I even did everything exactly right and weighed each wing to make sure they're the same weight but it still rolls over
This Plane defenately needs a big spinner on the prop, to have his characteristic looks.
You are so right! I use a Dubro 2.5" spinner with a 10x5E thin hub prop.
What a P-40 really needs, is a 3 Blade Prop! 😎
...... I'm still Novice/Intermediate, and can't figure out WHAT size. 😲 I THINK 10x4x3 or 9x6x3 (looking for kind of a slower flyer), but I'm not sure.
At least I guessed right on the 2.5" Spinner! Figuring out what to do about Wing Guns too.
Efrain buon compagno lavaro!
How long ago was this video shot?
can I put a 2400 KV motor
Where i can find the free plans?
how much did it weigh.
Where is the best place to mount a GoPro hero 7?
A Mustang in the same scale as the Spitfire and P40 sure would be nice.
Excellent build Andres... thanks... can't wait to get a P40. For the Landing Gear Wire... are you using FLT-2067 2mm Thin Landing Gear Wire or FLT-2065 2.6mm Medium Landing Gear Wire?
i cant find the download for the plans
Wow is that a surprise appearance of andres or is this an old video done before he left?
Flight test challenge dynamic soaring foam board 100 mph
I know you probaly cant do this but could you make it rtf (ready to fly) since i dont have the stuff to assemble it like the hot glue gun
John O'Connor they sell all of that stuff on their store but it’s quite pricy at $100
Since you've made this kit as a P-40 Warhawk, could a modification be made to it, or offered that would turn this kit into a P-36 Hawk the inter-war years pursuit fighter aircraft from which the P-40 was derived? Curtis/Wright had simply taken it's Radial engine P-36, removed everything forward of the firewall then installed an Allison V-12 inline engine. The great thing about the Hawk was that it's suburb handling being fully aerobatic. The A-36 had better wing loading, climb rate and roll rate than the legendary A6M2 Zero model aircraft used in Pearl Harbor.
are there cheaper alternative controllers that one is $400
Can flight test make a Hurricane aeoplane ???
Y did the audio cut out sometimes
Make some german warbirds please
Building plans???
This is a great build! Spoken from a verified buyer! Take a look at my build video and see for yourself! Dressed her up a bit! Thanks Flite Test!
How much does it weight ?
Plans coming?
How many sheets of foam paper do you need for this or do you have to buy it with the plane
The kit includes everything you see. All the laser cut foam, the pushrods, and firewall . To complete you need the motor , servos, receiver and a transmitter .
Paint could be good too .
Anyone have an FT Aura 5 Lite .acf file for this bird?
the last build video at this location
When buying it does it come with remote, serves batteries and other stuff
RNG MrDefaultAsian u have to buy a separate remote and if u get the speed build kit then u have to add on a battery and the power pack c to get the servos and propellers and wires and motor and all of the stuff like that
HOLY F*CK SH*T GOD DAMN FINALLY A P-40 !!!!!!!!
Is this master series?
Hey. What is this stuff?
Bro please tell me the measurements
I ordered this plane more than a year ago.. it took me a while but yesterday it was finally ready for it's maiden flight and it flow like a boss! Thank you so much for a very detailed video! keep doing a great job 💪
