Hiya ! ! To anyone who’s willing to pull for Hu Tao here’s some tips:
I’m a Hu Tao haver.
- Hu Tao doesn’t need a healer but A GOOD SHIELD (Hu Tao can heal herself with her burst) so I suggest you should have Zhongli. Let me explain, she deals more damage when her HP is low. A shield will protect her from dying when in low HP.
- You desperately need Xingqui to support her to cause vaporize. More damage.
- Her charge attacks should always be used.
- Make sure she’s always on low HP.
- Artifacts should be more based on her HP and DMG. Substats that have crit rate or crit dmg makes it better !
Goodluck ! ! My Hu Tao can deal up to 90k+ dmg on her bursts.

How much primogems do i need for Hu Tao? I’ve only started playing like 2 days ago and i’m AR 23, i don’t have a 5 star yet except for Traveller of course but i don’t quite understand how to get a guarantee 5 star. And how do i get primogems fast. Since i plan Hu Tao as my first 5 star i’m very nervous on not getting her since i only have 3.5k primogems but i already rolled 40 times on different other banners, does that give me pity on the upcoming hu tao rerun banner or no? If you can please teach me since i’m in the point of if i don’t get hu tao, i will quit. I AM OBSESSED WITH HER HELP
@@V1xtory How many times have you pulled on the character banner (the one that changes?) Since you haven't gotten a 5* from it yet, that'll be your pity. Soft pity = better chance of getting a 5*, hard pity = guaranteed 5*. Soft pity starts at 70 pulls, hard pity is 90 pulls. Although even when you get the 5*, there's a 50% chance it'll be the featured character hu tao and 50% it'll be diluc/jean/qiqi/keqing/etc. And if you lose the 50/50 the first time, you'll win the next one.
Those 3.5k primos ~= 21 pulls, so you'll need more. Commissions, world quests, achievements, and Shrine of the Depths chests are the fastest way for me to get primos. Also, you'll be able to use Paimon's Bargains to convert those useless weapons pulls into *some* hu tao wishes. But those are capped.
Good luck! I'm also going for Hu Tao. Got guaranteed pity because I got Keqing on Kazuha's banner (losing 50/50). And because it's been 40 pulls since I got my 5* Keqing, I have 40 pity.

As long as you got a good shielder it's manageable. Just put the shield back up when able. When her hp is low she fucking demolishes, especially if you got lucky and got her weapon as well (I did). I don't even run her with her meta artifact set, I go lavawalker and still wreck shit. I sat on building her for a couple months but am finally working on her and she's great.
I mean, her low hp is compensated by the fact that it buffs her attacks, so if you wanna do a higher damage with her ult you gotta have less than the 50% of hp
As you got a good sheilder, you're okay. Also don't worry too much about hp. She can get atk buff and she will not died by her own skill. At the worst case, she will have 1 hp. Same like Xiao, he can't died by his own ult

In Chinese, Hu Tao's Hillichurl song actually translates to a cute poem:
Big Hillichurl gets sick,
Second Hillichurl takes care of them
Third Hillichurl searches for herbs
and Fourth Hillichurl stews the medicine.
But I guess they can't make that flow in English.
The song it's based off of is called 10 rabits. The song says that the 1 rabit gets sick, 2 rabit takes care of them, 3 rabit searches for herbs, 4 rabit stews the medicine, and the 5 rabit dies. The others morn the 5 rabit's loss.
The 4 rabit was a doctor and the 5 was a sacrifice to the 1.
The song hits though. :)
