Hello! I also started to swell and bought a nail one size bigger. Now that there is no swelling, I wear a smaller size, when I swell again, I put on a larger size😃

Yay! thank you so, so , much for doing this video! this is very helpful!. We are size twins! I am going to order this one classic size without diamonds, as I feel as though the one with diamonds isn't worth the mark up for the diamonds you get. I'm also a size 17 in the JUC.

This is my dilemma:
I initially purchased a Juste en clou bracelet while shopping in the Cartier shop. It was the regular one and the SA just pulled one out and snapped it on my wrist, a size 17. I have a beautiful LOVE CUFF in size 19. I opted for the CUFF because i do remove my jewelry daily. I had a terrible time removing this tight JUC! It felt perfect and was on my wrist exactly where i wanted. But i could barely get my finger under the bracelet to the mechanism to remove.
After about 6 months i sold it and purchased a size larger, size 18 online. I absolutely love the JUC and it was so much easier to open but it fell lower on my wrist, more on my hand than wrist. So disappointing........ So i sold it sadly. Its a lot of money to not be absolutely happy........
So now I am wondering if my SA at Cartier was correct and i should have stayed with the size 17........but I live in a very warm (HOT AND HUMID) state in the USA, and my hands swell....... i hate to give up on the JUC but it's as if i am in between sizes.......
So frustrating 😫
Thank you so much for watching ❤️ I feel you, really! If you have the cuff in 19 the clou in 17 was the recommended size. I recently have the same problem I swell up like crazy idk why. I can't stack and only wear my love and 1 alhambra. And even the love bracelet hurts but I am not giving up. My clou is tight like you describe I hardly can get my finger under. So I am giving it a small break. I think it's because it's hot and humid here right now. If you live in a all year hot and humid country maybe the size up is better and I would size the cuff also up for perfect alignment. It should be comfortable to wear I am waiting for folder temperature and will see where I go from there. I hope this helps. Have a wonderful weekend🥰😍

I did purchase the JUC in one of warmest months so perhaps that's the reason the size 17 was difficult to get off..........
I know myself well enough that I would never be happy with the larger size of 18 - it just hung down too far on my hand...... so very sad.
But yes the size 18 was easy to get off.

FYI - I have sold all 6 of my Vintage Alhambra 5 motif bracelets !!
I increased the size just barely and still had difficulty putting them on and off by myself......
Finally I realized I would never wear them enough so sadly sold ALL !
That was definitely a tough decision but I know I will never purchase another. Good luck with your bracelets.....

@bflorida8469 wow you really have quite an elaborate bracelet journey and it sounds as you know exactly what you like and don't like that's always a big plus! I find the alhambra easy to put on and off I have them loose so it's okay for me. I am pretty much done with bracelets and am enjoying what I have. You said you don't want to give up on the clou yet and I was wondering if you ever tried the small one? I don't like that it's hollow but I was thinking the lesser weight might make kt more comfortable. 🤔

I found a very pristine pre-loved JUC (at a very reputable luxury pre-loved shop a dear friend of mine owns so I know it's authentic). Additionally it has the certification and original receipt.
I went back to the JUC size 17 as I have lost weight since my previous purchases........
It fits PERFECTLY! I am so happy.....
I did have to size down to a LOVE CUFF size 18 as well, from Cartier.
So now - I am finally super happy ❤️
I, too, am finished purchasing bracelets and enjoying the ones I have finally found that fit just as I want!
Habe auch so gemacht mit einer Uhr die nichts gekostet hat und hab 1 Jahr sogar ausprobiert. Nach einem Jahr war ich mir sicher es wird die Cartier werden, allerdings die Verkäuferin sagte mir es ist nicht ganz so Wasser dicht ( heißt, wenn ich am Fahrradfahren bin und es regnet mehr, muss ich die Uhr sozusagen verstecken) das war für mich eindeutig ein NEIN , nicht für so eine teuere Uhr. Am Ende ist eine Rolex geworden die ich liebe und weiß bei der muss ich mir keine Gedanken machen. Bei der JUC habe ich das gleiche auf der Haut aber … wer schön sein will muss leiden 😜 liebe Grüße aus Deutschland

Tatsächlich war meiner ( datejust 31, römische Zahlen mit weisem Zifferblatt nur ein paar hundert Euro teuerer als die Cartier , das mittlere Modell. Wenn man die kriegt 🥴, ist natürlich die andere Frage, hatte Mega Glück, jetzt ist die noch teuerer geworden🫣aber die Cartier ,so schön Sie auch ist , ist mir zu teuer um mit solche Gedanken ständig zu machen… maybe one day 😍
