- This is a re-post of a video I published in Sept. The orginal video was 35 minutes long, which i thought was too long, so i took it down. This is much more condensed and less than half the original lenght. Sorry for to those whose already viewed the original.
It was a day of fails and missed fishes.
Those fish were hungry brother!!! I know what you mean about the patience with those slow sinking baits too, I feel the same way. Love that Yak setup BTW!
Thanks brother! Wish I landed more, lol. Yeah I love this yak, but sometimes i like the simplicity of bank fishing or even just taking out the paddle yak. As a fellow yak owner, you know the all the extra stuff you gotta do to actually get on the water with one.
@@DrinkWetPoopFishing oh I had a day like that last week haha lost some good ones, every time they manage to leverage a good jump I prepare for heart break! Hahah. I agree brother, I love kayaking and the freedom on the water that comes with, it’s just a lot easier to jump in my car and get out and fish. I’m gonna make an effort to get mine out before it gets cold too!
I don’t remember what lures I was using but it was the same thing lol. The eye wasn’t closed so I kept breaking off. Man, that kayak looks AMAZING. You’ve got quite the setup… all that’s missing is some electronics 👀.
Lol, I can’t tell you how many fish have done the Houdini jump and escape act. More so in rivers from what I’ve had. I had to laugh at that first bit where you mentioned your channel name LOL.
Thanks bro. I'm not very proficient with the garmin striker 4, so no plans for any upgrades in the near future. I mainly use it for depth and bottom composition tbh. Maybe when i dip my toes in a couple of tourneys next year I may get an upgrade. My main focuse now is improving production value, so I think my next purchase will be a drone. Starting to have some fun editing.
With regards to the channel name, yeah, that was funny and the couple got a chuckle out of it. My buddies have told me to change the name, but I'm gonna leave it as is. It wont be confused with any other channel, lol. Thanks for watching my content bro.

@@thatfishingnoob Yeah the striker 4 is very basic. What are you thinking of getting? I saw you too btw. Your name is also easy to remember and probablly doesn't induce vomiting, lol.
you really make the dc reel scream with your casting power bro, sounds so good. waiting on shimano to make a dc curado bfs reel..that would be so awesome 😂
the one i'm using on this trip is the slx dc xt. it has a louder sound than the slx dc. love both sounds
Be sure to put your thumb on top of the spool :) you get better grib and handle
