@@johnsworldofvideopoker My biggest issue was not playing with an adequate bankroll for the games I played. This always put my in desperation mode which is almost always a loser. There is nothing better than watching someone like you play live. All the books in the world can't do that. Thanks again!

I love Pechanga. Went to Yaamava this morning and all I came home with was a headache from the blasted music. Most boring session of poker I've had in a long time. Watching you play today was a kick.
Yaamavá & The Palms have the same music playing in their casinos. Originally, the music at The Palms was over-the-top too loud. Then, they dialed it down a little and it’s great now. Yaamavá, is hit or miss with it, sometimes; it’s just right, and then other times, it’s just too much. I think they turn it up when the place is full of players and down when there’s less of a crowd. Like I say, it’s hit or miss, at Yaamavá. The Palms is perfect now. I like the new Stations’ casino, Durango, that just opened-up. Go check it out.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

@@lavaunjohns7796 I like early gambling on occasion too, you get the pick of the machines, it’s even more gratifying if you hit a Royal Flush in the early morning. That has happened to me twice, but it’s far & few between. When I’m playing alone, I usually end up with a late night run after dining out and everyone is heading to bed. Either way (early or late) you get your pick of the machines!😝🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker If I'm up past 10pm I turn into a zombie. But I often win in the wee hours of the morning and luckily most casinos are relatively quiet at that time. Been that way all of my life.

Greetings from Torrance! Hi John! I miss your constant reminders about playing on house money and being patient. Of course lately, I had to be patient because of being stuck at home. Mom is going crazy at home and can't wait to get back to Pechanga. She is doing way better and is taking more and more steps. She still walks like an infant(arms stretched out looking for something to lean onto), but at least she is improving. We are hoping to be at Pechanga next Sunday. Third try at posting a comment. First It is good to have you back. The professionalism and attention to detail of your videos is far superior to any other VP videos out there. On another note, like you I lost my phone and with it your contact information. I go to Pechanga/Pala usually once per week and usually on Tuesday. I would like to get together. Could you email me your contact information. I had put my email in my previous comments and that may be a reason they were taken down. My game of choice is now BP Dlx, which can be brutal. If you don't hit quads during a session you will lose. However, at 99.64% if played properly it is overall a good game and I am ahead for the year without hitting a Royal so far. I would like to discuss some ideas I have utilized which have seemed to work well in the long run. Again welcome back my friend.

Hi Kevin. Yes, it’s a good idea to coin-down to preserve a profit or to have more bankroll to have a shot at hitting a Royal Flush at a lower denomination coin denomination, which (if you hit one) means winning a $1,000, $2,000, or $4,000 pay out. All a decent day’s wage!😉🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

If you provide a timestamp to the hand that you’re referring to, that would be helpful, otherwise, I’d have to re-watch the video to find the hand. But when the player has a “small-pair” 2 through 10 against 4 to a flush, the player holds for the flush.😁🌎

@michaelconley9468 Yes, thank you for the time stamp. We toss the small pair in exchange for the 4 to a Flush. There’s only a 1 in 5.2 chance of hitting it (19.23%), but it is the correct play to go for the flush in that circumstance. However, if the player has a pair of Aces, Kings, Queens, or Jacks, then you hold them instead of a Flush.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

On today's Jackpot Gents they got a 2-to-the-royal (AK) RF. Didn't realize how rare that was until you mentioned the stat here today.
You’re right, holding for the 1-gap straight is the correct play, and I had an 8.5% (4/47) chance of hitting it. I was just trying to increase my odds of just “anything” hitting (JoB) which had a 19.1% (9/47) chance of hitting. Long term strategy is the right way to go, but short term, anything can happen, and sometimes, I go that way. And, Yes, 2 to the Royal, is a rare hand to hit, but it happens so quickly and unexpectedly, and it is such a welcome thrill when it does come through for you. SoCal casinos must be wayyy better than these crappy Humboldt casinos… I was playing bonus and realized it was 7/4! Paid no attention until I got 4 of a kind and the pay was 175 coins😂😂
Yes, I too, have been bamboozled by casinos in the same way. So nowadays, I always look at the 2 pair payout for 10 coins and look at the Quad payouts of 400, 200, & 125 before playing the machines. SoCal has superb pay tables on all video poker games. Some have to be scouted, but once you know where they are, you just back to them all the time. When I cash-out at break even, I’m just happy to “live to fight another day” with the same starting bankroll without having to dip into my own money. Hopefully, I’m able to score better hits in the next session, so I can coin-up to the $5 coin denomination and perhaps luck-out with a surprise Royal Flush that could show-up unannounced.
