Hi, I am Hermit I make shorts about fictional characters from video games, anime, tv shows, and movies. If you want to learn about new characters or existing ones Subscribe! #shorts
JJK's writing is extremely good. His character so well written. Essentially he's the most powerful being on the earth but only follows the rules because he's lonely. Having to kill Geto kind of broke him, Geto wanting to kill all non-sorcerers (effectively solving the problem of fighting curses.) Geto says to him that Gojo could literally help him and do it with ease, but he won't and that's a choice within itself. It really stuck with me, cause it's all good having all that power, but unless you put it towards an end goal, you're effectively part of the problem. I feel like Gojo's not lazy, he just wants to solve the curse issue in a different way. Gojo becoming a teacher and raising some of the strongest sorcerers of the era is a deliberate choice. I think his end goal is permanent change to established traditions and flawed rules and laws to Jujutsu society and beyond and he can't do that without strong allies.
nice analysis! I totally agree with you. Gojo is the strongest, and deep down he's a very caring person. He knows it takes more than just strength to help all the weak people, that's why he choose to be a teacher.
With the latter paragraph yeah he pretty much says this himself. In season 1 he briefly humors the idea of just straight up killing all of the Sorcerer leaders to get rid of the flawed laws and rules - but he immediately refutes this stating that if he were to do this no one would be on his side or want to truly listen to him - so instead he aims to guide and raise the next generation into better sorcerers who can eventually replace the current leadership - this is why, despite his antics, he goes out of his way to teach and help his students grow.
Gojo is not lazy He just wants his students to surpass him He personally thinks 4 of his students can surpass him Yuta, hakari, megumi and yuji Yuta and hakari are already broken as hell so it makes sense
I think you kinda miss understand how he was written, sure he is cocky and generally lazy in alot of regards especially in teaching. But when he needs or feels to do something he WILL do it. Plus there are more technical things holding him back like the higher ups and the sorcerer society.
I don't think the higher ups are holding him back by any means. He can ignore there orders and do what he wants, and he can also kill them all pretty easily. It's just that killing them isn't gonna help his overall plan.
@@Huh-oh3mx yeah the higher ups don't hold him back. The only reason he hasn't killed them by now is cause even if he does, they will just be replaced by other dudes. But after the Shibuya arc, once gojo gets out he's sure to kill the higher ups. The higher ups are literally scared to make a decision that gojo disagrees with

No you said he is the best written overpowered character in anime. Which while it could be argued in the manga if we are talking manga there’s Saitama and Dark Schneider which could also be strong contenders. But if we are only talking anime I think Saitama is more well written out and handles the concept of what happens when your too strong. It’s up to preference but as far as the best written over powered character in manga I think at the moment of writing this comment Saitama is the better written over powered character. For the simple fact we never see the mental taxing of being so powerful with gojo while Saitama shows that in spades I think this aspect is an extremely important aspect to be shown when handling over powered characters. Even if by the end of the one punch man manga the current villain being set up can challenge Saitama I wouldn’t say he still isn’t over powered considering the criteria of the villain being set up. I think Gojo is a good written character but I don’t think he is a good over powered written character. It’s simular to the concept people argue with erza from fairy tail. Where they made the character a bad ass then made them a woman. Or in this case they made Gojo’s personality then made him overpowered. Which isn’t a bad thing. It’s very simular to the argument where well the sharigan in naruto is overpowered but if it’s taken out then the character is deemed nerfed as hell. If it ever comes up that gojos eyes are taken Depending on how they handle it then it could easily be argued he is a good written overpowered character. At the moment none of the good parts of gojo’s core personality is related to the idea of him being overpowered. At the end you say they handle him well. That is something I can completely get behind they handle him brilliantly. But I don’t think he is the best written overpowered because there are plenty of characters that I believe he could top. But it’s inarguably they handle him well considering he is so overpowered and there are still stakes in JJK.
I think JJK is one of the best written stories I've seen in a long time, and the depth of the characters is exactly what I look for in a great story. The plot and the power system are incredibly creative and complex without becoming too much of a mess to make any sense.
The reason I believr Gojo works so well is because when he is availible the villians consider him as a factor. In the Good Will event we see that there was a curtain made just for him making it difficult for him to reach Hanami. The plot also punishes those who underestimate him such as Jogo. It also the fact that Gojo is someone who character isn't well like making people who disagree with his points hate him and not want to side with him. In the second season without spoiling we get a lot more on who Gojo is as both a fighter and a figure in the politics of sorcerory.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a popular anime that has captured the attention of many anime fans. There are several reasons why this anime is considered to be good. Firstly, the storyline of Jujutsu Kaisen is captivating. The anime follows the story of a high school student named Yuji Itadori who becomes a Jujutsu sorcerer after swallowing a cursed object. The storyline is filled with action-packed scenes, emotional moments, and unexpected twists that keep the audience engaged. Secondly, the characters in Jujutsu Kaisen are well-developed and relatable. Bro is one step away to insanity. Remember all the things happened while he's in the box. Nanami died, Principal Yaga died, Nobara is dying, Inumaki is also dying, Mai died, Maki is now Toji Zenin 2.0 and has scar, Kenjaku is still in Geto's body and Sukuna is now in Megumi's body. Now if they killed Utahime...
Nah, it was Gojo who wanted to fix Sukuna, to show him love and the solitude power brings, but Sukuna lives a different philosophy to Gojo because he has lived through different times and a much longer life so when you live that long, everything is so trivial to you at that point. I think thats why Gojo could not reach Sukuna emotionally. And if you think about it, Sukuna didnt break Gojo, Sukuna finally gave Gojo the fight and defeat he was looking for. A lot of the petty and toxic Gojo and Sukuna fans dont realise this, but Gojo and Sukuna actually have mad respect for each other by the end of that fight.
I'd say that he's pretty well written cause despite him being overpowered, he is human. It was made pretty clear in the shibuya incident arc. That's the only reason why they succeeded in sealing him. Progs to Gege
Spoiler alert: If youre confused about his explanation basically, Gojo is not matured enough to do things that is other matured things humans can do, Geto is the one who taught him the right and the wrong, Geto is the only reason why Gojo cant kill innocent people because Geto said to him "Whats even the point of killing innocents without a reason"
I don’t think he is lazy, rather the problem he has is that even if he can protect himself, he can’t protect everyone and change the higher up all by himself
Im just rewatching it again after watching the Movie. Gojo's OP charc is just so natural like idk how to xplain but even Geto knows he is a threat to their plan dat they have to plan it all out or outsmart him because unless they prison him they cant proceed to next plan. and i have to read the manga 🤧😁
This doesn't age well. Gojo lost. But. From the story we know that Gojo also train hard his body, mind, creativity, and humour. He is muscled like toji and fight in surprising manner. A really good example for his student so they can learn his good and his mistake at the end of the fight
To powerful that he had to seal until someone powerful arrives 🤣 The Writter literally did this so that people stop saying Why didn't Gojo kill that dude 🤣🤣
He's self aware of the capabilities of his power. Of course he would get lazy as he's already tired solving things on his own (since he can literally see the solution to that problem through infinity)
Imo, bring lazy is a good thing. Personally, I place value on things that are significant to me, as well. If i don’t wanna do a history assessment, I don’t do it. Thats how it should be. And i dont think its direct laziness.. I think he mostly places importance on raising his students to be better than him. It also suggests why he’s still a bit of a child. I think its cute, honestly.
Spoilers Looking back, Gojo could've prevented a lot of the enemy's plans. If he had picked up Megumi's call in the first ep, he could've prevented Sukuna finding a worthy vessel. But no he was instead buying snacks. Gojo brought Yuji with him to use his fight against Jougo as a teaching opportunity. Then he couldn't go after Hanami and Jogo bc he was too busy saving Yuji. If Gojo wanted to show Yuji Domain Expansion, then he should've chose a spirit that wasn't clearly a special grade. During the Goodwill event, we see Gojo teleport to decimate that Coat rack guy. He could've just teleported close to Hanami and one shot him with Domain expansion. But no, Gojo decides to show off with Hollow purple and Hanami barely manages to escape. And that's in season 1. Season 2 is later gonna show how the accumulation of these small errors explodes. All of these errors and failures on Gojo's part actually makes him my favorite character. There are many examples of OP villains failing due to overestimating and overconfidence. Apply that to a hero and you get Gojo. Gojo is overall a good person. Gojo has good morals and strives to do the right thing, but is inhibited by issues bc he has been fundamentally been on a different plane of existence than most people, hell even other jujutsu sorcerers, for his whole life.
Though gojo is op he’s still no match for 20 finger sukuna and it took every sorcerer to defeat him and only break him into fragments so I think if every sorcerer jumped him they would win I think
@@slimerewoods5766 no way cause it took every sorcerer to only destroy most of his body but it was so perfect that they couldn’t completely kill him but unlike sukuna. Gojo was almost killed by a guy without cursed energy plus he is the strongest I will admit but if 20 finger sukuna is back then only yuji will be able to beat him since he is him while the others try and stop him
lets br fr if gojo was actually always serious and not cocky every curse wouldve died and sukuna wouldve died in the first few domain expansion battles he also wouldve dmged toji more before he awakened against him all his students would be more op since he is more serious he wouldve killed jogo instantly and couldve not got caught in kenjakus seal.(-all i know atm)
Makes sense for gojo to be cocky and lazy, bro is probably one of the strongest characters in JJK and when you have lots of power and no one can touch you, you're gonna be cocky and lazy (I think he's one of the strongest characters in JJK, idk I haven't gotten to watching it, currently watching Dr Stone)

You mean from the WN? He isn’t half as involved in the story of Re Zero as Gojo is in JJK
Imagine gojo in the old age:
"Ay you ain't picking the cotton "
"You can't touch me..your black."
-Gojou satoru
i love sit on me jojo
Hating your past biggest joker
Bro he is untouchable wtffffffffgf
He’s so hot *Barks*
He stops being cocky after Toji humbled him tho
Kinda true, but remember, Gojo did turn Toji into the Apple logo.
Yes im EXTREMELY lazy
Gojo gives me the vibes of Kakashi
He's also depressed af
He's self aware of the capabilities of his power. Of course he would get lazy as he's already tired solving things on his own (since he can literally see the solution to that problem through infinity)
Goku fans: let us introduce ourselves
The topic wasn't even about that lmfao
@@yanlopez674 "bet he can't beat Goku"
And in the end, when he was at 100% maximum power, he wasn’t even strong enough to beat the man who killed him when that man was just playing😂😂😂
so in other words, no one else could kill Gojo except for Sukuna the strongest character in the series? Thats pretty good! ;]
I’m not gay but he can teach me a certain class if no what saying…
He could solo the universe
I think you need to explai "infinity" better, "cant touch him withoit permission?" soumds like something else💀
the best thing of gojo that i likes is his flexing he flex on another level (yo wai mo)
When it comes to overpowered characters it's easy to write yourself into a corner with them. Luckily Gege is a great writer so this didn't happen
He also has trauma (aka, what got him boxed in the first place). Also, he’s not lazy, just busy.
W RIZZ GOJO!
Yhwach from Bleach is the truly overpowered charector those who read TYBW were protesting to ban that hacker
Dont let this distract you from the fact theres never been a single lesson however there are many classrooms
You forgot to add one thing about Gojo, a hot man and a backbreaking folding anime character
Thx bro
Also bye bye tomorrow
People here be writing a whole essay wtf XD
if he solved everything, after he died, the problem will come back. so, his goal is to train strong students
he has a no no square
Mans basically Dante
Dude, I saw this today I cried
Goat character ❤
Sinbad and kenpachi are so clear of this fraud😭
Man said kenpachi😂
@@wi0.24se yes?
Imo, bring lazy is a good thing.
Personally, I place value on things that are significant to me, as well. If i don’t wanna do a history assessment, I don’t do it. Thats how it should be.
And i dont think its direct laziness.. I think he mostly places importance on raising his students to be better than him. It also suggests why he’s still a bit of a child.
I think its cute, honestly.
Spoilers
Looking back, Gojo could've prevented a lot of the enemy's plans.
He's either a king of ace or a god😅
Though gojo is op he’s still no match for 20 finger sukuna and it took every sorcerer to defeat him and only break him into fragments so I think if every sorcerer jumped him they would win I think
@@slimerewoods5766 jogo is only at 8 or 9 fingers but 20 finger sukuna is definitely gonna stomp on gojo but he won’t go down without a fight
@@slimerewoods5766 no way cause it took every sorcerer to only destroy most of his body but it was so perfect that they couldn’t completely kill him but unlike sukuna. Gojo was almost killed by a guy without cursed energy plus he is the strongest I will admit but if 20 finger sukuna is back then only yuji will be able to beat him since he is him while the others try and stop him
Saitama be like:
"Oh."
lets br fr if gojo was actually always serious and not cocky every curse wouldve died and sukuna wouldve died in the first few domain expansion battles he also wouldve dmged toji more before he awakened against him all his students would be more op since he is more serious he wouldve killed jogo instantly and couldve not got caught in kenjakus seal.(-all i know atm)
ねえ、それは私です
Meruem from hxh is the best written op
So basically he is the equivalent of gilgamesh. Literally OP but ego and laziness holds them back
He is more broken than Gilgamesh
Gojo has near infinite energy
No matter how much he uses , he can just bring back upto what he used before the attack
Gojo is lazy? Oh my
He’s a way better Dumbledoore kind of character
If I gojo I would be the same ass cocky and lazy ass him so can't argue with that 😂😂✨💓....
