awesome brother!!! i bought the gloss black in late november...absolutely love it...it ended up having neck alignment issues, and i'm waiting for a replacement from FMI...love charvels, just sold my 1989 model 5A to one of my best friends...he's been bugging me for 25 years to sell!!! cheers all!!!

It's a great guitar, but the one i bought had serious issues, wrong neck alignment, paint defects and in general bad manufacture. Maybe i've been unlucky and just picked up a lemon, but after seeing some videos and reviews, i read that it's not that rare on this series. Such a pity.

I just received My so cal pro mod fr hh snow white! after always wanting a Charvel.... It is awful!!! came with super high action and no matter how many adjustments made to it, it buzzes everywhere!! also one of the frets is not level!! Such a shame because its beautiful and feels like the neck would be so fast if it wasn't setup like a nylon classical guitar from the 1800s! . so disappointed and absolutely gutted . Charvel are NOT the guitars everyone leads you to believe! sad times.
I own four and none of them have these problems. Either you don't know what you are doing...or you got a lemon.

This is shill copypasta, I've seen this in other videos. Though it's not entirely false tbh. Every company makes dogs here and there at much higher price points. If it's got level frets and the electronics aren't broken, it's fine, and that's how 9/10 are. 'The action was high' is a non-issue. If you're buying 1k guitars you should know how to set up a guitar, and the factory assemblers aren't gonna nail your setup, so it's hardly worth mentioning the action in a review.
