Man... I've been here longer than these guys? Well. We all have different experiences. I love SouthEast Asia and I love the Philippines and Thailand. The ladies just add too much stress for me. So I am done. They are beautiful but I don't need the stress. It's all about expectations. They expect you to give them the life they always wanted. But I want to live the life I always wanted. I am happiest solo. No stress... very happy... no expectations. I absolutely love it. Bonus... I don't have to ask for translations. I don't care. Another bonus... I am buying 2 kilos of rice a month not 25 kilos! I eat the food I like because I know how to cook. I don't need to be with anyone. Peace.

Great to see you guys addressing the weight, and health subject. It’s tough, but it’s good to stand in front of a mirror and ask ourselves would we date a girl that was in our overweight condition. We can’t expect them to ignore something we never would.
I just had my first anniversary with my beautiful Philippina bride.
After being together about 2.5 years.
I’m 63 she is 28. It’s the happiest I have ever been. She is loving life too.
We live in Australia, she has a great well paid job here, far better than she could ever get in the Philippines.
We go back once a year. We are going to buy a 10 acre coconut/ copra farm for her family to operate. It’s. Good long term investment for us and her especially.
How I would love to be there with you guys. So hilarious! My Filipina wife and I have a house in the mountains near Carcar, Philippines. I am ready to move there full time (66 years old and she's 59).She wants to work 2 more years here in Texas. We were pen pales back in the day (89 to 1991).You guys are so lucky.

Wow... Goldfinger is fasting... be careful with your health. Bravo on the weight loss.
I was told it is not the best way to do it. Your body needs nourishing meals like a salad with a few vegetables and vitamins. I used to do that and immediately I would put the weight back on. Just change the foods you eat. Exercise is also part of the equation. I admire his determination but he should talk to a certified weight loss nutritionist. I would hate for him to do harm to himself.
Sick animals do not eat. Fasting is very healthy. It is more than weight.

Good bullshitting session! You guys got me beat on time in country but being married to a Filipino in the States and raising two Filipino boys from the Philippines now for 30 years I’m quite familiar with the culture , customs, language, foods, etc. I’ve been saving my pennies and will be early retiring at 58 heading to PI in October of this year. Looking forward to hopefully meeting a couple of you fellas along the journey. Congrats to Rabbi Goldfinger on his weight loss goals.✌🏻

Great informational video. Had a few chuckles on the communication front. Was curious if you knew if you had a front facing camera in your car if it helps keeping the foreigners from having to pay for accidents if they camera shows the foreigner isn't at fault?

Paul you are really good, but the three of you are great. This has been your most enjoyable program so far. I have been watching your channel for about three years now. I would like to see you get with goldfinger on his feed the children day too.
Getting on a flight and going on a two week vacation is the best way to see if your relationship will work. If you can travel together, you will stay together.
About communication and the confusion it adds. In the Philippine language, "I am on the mall". I simply explained you can be inside of a mall. But when using the word "ON" you are implying you are on the roof. The very next day I got a text message saying (I am IN the Island). Yup!! Not quite how the English language works, LOL
GoldFinger is 68, couldn't believe it ... I always thought he was 55, 56 max. good video of the 3 amigos ... hook em horns !!
Please tell Goldfinger he’s being dangerous about his heart. The heart needs electrolytes! Cramps are an indication! Without the electrolytes the heart muscle has no rhythm to follow especially when the body needs to move.
Pickle juice will eliminate cramps the quickest I have found. Especially from weightlifting.
Could be thyroid related as well. When my dosage is off or I don't take my meds for a few days I get constant cramps. Just guessing he might have hypothyroidism based on looks no clinical evidence.
@@PILearning2LiveAgain 5 going on 7 days, he’s got no potassium or magnesium in his system, nerves cannot conduct without. You should ensure your consumption of electrolytes as some medication can obstruct the absorption of these essential minerals to ensure cellular osmosis occurs.
He needs sodium, potassium and magnesium in his water to sustain his fasting
I’m guessing that electrolytes is the thing that he was trying to say at 4:30 but couldn’t remember the word?

These guys are on the smart track . If you come here for a short time and then make a life change , relocate perhaps ; You will quickly realize w/ some or much pain ; that women are women .. thier mode of operation is easier to digest here , and a good one from here is a GREAT ONE , but it takes a lot of living experience here , to make a smart / no burn decision
2 eggs breakfast 4oz grapefruit juice.
Lunch and dinner eat any protein with vegetables and butter, 4oz grapefruit juice each meal and fruit if wanted will work better Goldfinger .
Just eat rice or any carbs once a month to jumpstart your metabolism.
Drink all the water and coffee or tea you like NO SUGAR .
Eat until you are full.
Eat at least 3 meals daily .
The pounds will come off.
Check your weight 1x weekly .

A "slave to your possessions" is the term I believe. And you're correct, being in that position is onerous at best over the course of time. Over the last few years I've been doing my best to divest myself of anything that I haven't, or won't wear again. Along with many other sorts of household goods. I've like to get myself down to a two bedroom worth of stuff...and stuff that I can, for the most part, just walk away from if need be.
Feeding the kids is a good idea. Along with the rest of the stuff that you guys are doing. Keep it up!

Haha! Love the part about helping with the sheets. Not long after my wife came to Florida she started cleaning house for a few of my customers. Well, she asked the lady about changing the bed sheets, but of course it sounded like bed sh*ts. Another time she was bragging about the beautiful beaches here in Fl, it sounded like she said beautiful b*tches 😂

I chose Thailand. Been in Thailand, retired almost 15 years now. We all share the same struggles, but at least in the Philippines, its all English so everyone knows 😂
So true , but I stayed in Thailand for 6 months and wish their Visa rules were more tourist friendly. Thailand had much better hospital care and food as well as areas of impeccable social economic infrastructure.

Ive been married for 33 years. The way i have viewed these pronunciation and language usage issues as sure im much better at English. Its all i speak. I would hope my skills would be superior. When i make poor attempts to speak illongo it is very poor. My wifes english is light years ahead of my illongo.
Also FIlipinas are very giving and share with a happy heart. That opearting a business shrewdly like an American should not really surprise anyone.
These culteral differences effect more than one may think on the surface. Embrace the differences and ignore the unwanted sude effects.

Very enjoyable video! Goldfinger is on the right track! Fasting is practically foreign these days, but it literally performs miracles. And NO, IT'S NOT DANGEROUS! I've gone a full 10 days with no issues. (I'm 67) Yes, electrolytes are needed, calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium. But anyway, thoroughly enjoyable conversation, thanks!!

Yes in the Philippines there is white inflation which means if your a foreigner with white skin then your prices increase because foreigners are believed to have more money ,so the result is if you have a Filipino girl friend or wife let her do the shopping and she will get a better deal especially at the open markets !

Goldfinger I agree
A spoonful of plain yellow mustard is also highly effective for acid reflux (aka. heartburn). Much more effective than Gaviscon, but it's a little painful if you have really bad acid reflux, because it neutralizes it on contact. Next time you have acid reflux, take a good heaping spoonful of mustard and swallow it right down. Don't drink water right away. Just let the mustard move on down to your stomach, and then drink some water. It really works.

Hey guys, you had me in stitches, thank you for that. If your looking for a great US steak, they are here in BGC. I realize that's a travel trip for you but bring a cooler. USDA Prime at the grocery stores and some steak houses are US quality. They are prob 30 to 50 % higher than the US though.
Hamburger joints are everywhere here. Shake Shack and more.
Now, yes this is the city but it's safe and has everything one needs. Your in the province style places in 10 mins if u walk.
I've been here 2 plus yrs.

Starvation is not good.
One healthy meal a day will do it. Lots of veggies.
Vegetable soup is a good way to lose wait.
Actually , a short term complete fast is NOT a starvation diet .
If you look into the facts it rids if dead cells and rejuvenates you and is extremely healthy for 2 to 7 days every other month ❤
Fasting can be good for you. There’s plenty of info online about the health benefits. Also, consider the psychological benefit. Fasting for multiple days is a challenge. If you can do it, it builds a feeling of accomplishment and control. You’ve proved to yourself that you have discipline and can achieve your goals. Weight loss can be a long journey. The small ‘win’ from fasting may help achieve the long term ‘win’ of sustained weight loss.
