Tan Jianci made us to fall love with Xiang Liu, he gave life, depth, charm and charism to the character, impersonating a lost, conflicted, and most of all he made Xiang alike us a half human, half dreamlike being. Director please hear our pledge, keep Xian Liu alive, change the end, enough of misery, let's have a surprising happy end to this amazing love story
Je ne vous comprend pas. Il l aime oui leur relation est plus enflammé parce que les deux ont un fort tempérament et peu de retenu. Jing a un amour pure un dévouement à tout épreuve. Elle aime jing parce que justement il est tout le contraire d elle. Sa bonté l aide à voir le monde d une autre manière à moins détester les être humains. Il n a jamais rien fait contre elle. Oh, mee too, I wish the script writers figured out how to have a happy ending for these two! But then again, Chinese writers are so much better at writing sad endings than happy ones! I remember watching a drama that had two alternative endings (Novaland, if I'm not mistaken) and the sad ending felt so much more natural than the happy one.

I haven’t read the novel, as you said Xiang Liu was never supposed to end with Yao, but Tan Jianci as made this character his own, his performance is outstanding, that viewers immediately fell for him. I don’t want to watch his tragic death, but can’t wait to see when he takes her away from her wedding.

In a way no matter what zhang liu went through,it is his own decision, xiao yao tried talking him out of following g ancient soldiers code of dying on the battle field , but he refused and get angry each time yao raises it, he loves yao --yes, and did a lot to save and aid him,but for me , if you love someone, she or he will be number one in everything you think or decide, but,zhang liu had another number one priority,and that is his uncle,I have never seen anyone who doesn't deserve a chance,but my only anger is that,even if he chose this,the writer was supposed to give him a chance of return like some other characters,to be able to live normally,even if he doesn't end up marrying xiao yao, they can be great friends,but no,the writer killed his character permanently in the book,that is uncalled for,and cruel,even a demon deserve a chance,cos humans are not kind to others or care saving others if they can even in exchange of something,like in the case of zhang liu,cos being a demon in their time doesn't mean bring completely evil,cos all races co-exist in their time, I find it unfair the way the writer handled his character.

He deserves to have his own story. His character is very VERY interesting. I hope Tong Hua would make Xiang Liu his own story and reincarnate him. If he didn't, I bid the story "Love Lost Forever" a good by. Not gonna watch Season 2. I'm moving on to "Legend of Zhuo Hua". Finally it's a battle between Tan Jianci and Xiang Liu, so I want to see if fans want to abandon Jianci for Liu,...it's been an open ending right from the beginning, it's been advertised well early, we can't not watch just because he will be killed. I hate you director. I and many of the audience watched the series for the character of Xiang Liu, and at the end we discover that he is not the hero and worse, at the end he will die. If you read the novel's ending, there's hundred of ways to tie the loopholes into a more...acceptable ending for Xiang Lu fans. She bravery replied yes if forget everything I will go with you but then again with a smirk he just ignore her answer and took it in a joke. In my believe among all the chrectors FL is the most unfortunate. She helped everyone, loved everyone but any of them didn't give the which she wants. Tushan Jing is kind and caring etc. But I never liked how clingy he is to Xiao Yao. Xiao Yao never realized what Xiang Liu did for her, and it's not just what he did for her, but when they're together, she's really happy, there's all passion, attraction, anger. The fact that he wasn't handsome behind the scenes is because Xiang Liu often fought for his life and no one knew parental love, but in spite of everything, he always managed to sacrifice himself for others and more than once. And in the end Xiang Liu is not selfish and all he did was to make Xiao Yao happy even if she is not with him. So is he really that bad? No other actor has captured and imprisoned my heart like this character and that voice, whether he was talking or singing had me completely Mesmerized. Last, but not least, his face, eyes, smiles and mischievous grins were Sheer Beauty. He was very attractive with gray or black hair and No actor has looked this gorgeous and his outfits fitted him to the “T” and made him look like he was one of the gods and desirable.❤❤❤
I had enough stress and heartache after watching Remembering Lichuan. Even if I, as a cancer survivor, understood that he pushed his beloved away so she wouldn't be burdened and perhaps he felt some pride and didn't want her to see him at his worst during treatment but they almost didn't give the couple more scenes of positive/romantic times together and concentrated more on their fussing and bickering back and forth. I hate when dramas do that also like in Heartbeat (where the male lead was a Vampire)
For me this is the 2nd Character in a drama whom i cried a lot and to the extend that i search who is he is real life 😁.. 1st is Yuwen Yue in Princess Agent's due to it's cliffhanger ending i ended up reading the continuation in the book at least he is alive..

Xiang Liu loved her heaps, but he knew there iis war he only had few people. i would fight for Love and my own people, who wouldnt? its her uncles and her brothers fault the war even happen ( i assume they started it )

Xiangliu is my most favorite man in this drama... the real gentleman.. he has the most pure love for xiaoyao.. hope she realize it... i really wish him could be together with xiaoyao in the end but i know that not posible... this drama really wreck me but i couldn't avoid it cz i love yangzi acting n the drama make me curious how's gonna end ❤
He deserves to have his own story. His character is very VERY interesting. I hope Tong Hua would make Xiang Liu his own story and reincarnate him. If he didn't, I bid the story "Love Lost Forever" a good by. Not gonna watch Season 2. I'm moving on to "Legend of Zhuo Hua". Their are many other CDramas out their that doesn't have a tragic ending. 😁😁😁

I'm also one of those relunctant to watch S2 UNLESS they find a way to make it justifiable and reasonable and not simply take the novel's ending literally. If you read the novel's ending, there's hundred of ways to tie the loopholes into a more...acceptable ending for Xiang Lu fans. She bravery replied yes if forget everything I will go with you but then again with a smirk he just ignore her answer and took it in a joke. In my believe among all the chrectors FL is the most unfortunate. She helped everyone, loved everyone but any of them didn't give the which she wants. Everyone has their own reasons to leave FL and for me that is the most painful part. I really want in the end She will leave everyone with their priorities.

The fact that he wasn't handsome behind the scenes is because Xiang Liu often fought for his life and no one knew parental love, but in spite of everything, he always managed to sacrifice himself for others and more than once. I had enough stress and heartache after watching Remembering Lichuan. Even if I, as a cancer survivor, understood that he pushed his beloved away so she wouldn't be burdened and perhaps he felt some pride and didn't want her to see him at his worst during treatment but they almost didn't give the couple more scenes of positive/romantic times together and concentrated more on their fussing and bickering back and forth. I hate when dramas do that also like in Heartbeat (where the male lead was a Vampire)
