Hi, You might reinstall windows 10 and you might have more than 1 hard drive or #SSD in your pc. But for some reason, your second #harddrive is #NotShowingUp
If you have this sort of situation then here is the video would show you how to resolve the issue within a few minutes.
Few key points.
Make sure your second drive was showing during the windows' setup guide.
Make sure there is no data because this method will reformat the data, and you are going to lose the data. So Know what you are going to do and what will be happened.

What a godsend! I've spent over 2 hours trying to figure out why the SSD wouldn't show up. I was ready to buy a new PC, but watched your tutorial as a last resort and it worked perfectly!!!! Thank You
Every tutorial hasnt helped, everything is fine but it wont show up in disk manager or this pc, it only shows in device manager.
I am unable to find my d,e,f drives and SSD with this trick what can I do?

Check your BIOS setting, sometimes enabling extra things will make the motherboard not look at it

This is not what ive been looking for, I dont't see unallocated partition in manage disk

the fact windows doesn't do this automaticly or at least prompt you to do this after installing a new drive is a complete oversight on microsofts part.
I'm by no means a novice when it comes to upgrading pc components, but yet here i was checking for drivers, running scans and was about ready to send my new SSD back thinking it was damaged.

Microsoft gets an F for failing to provide a prompt which could have prevented so much confusion.

Just 5 mins this happened...
I have nearly 6 Drives such as C, D, E , F, G
Everything was fine untive this 5 min But while working I saw on "My Computer" there are only 2 drives only C and D.
Please say and save me ...
I went to Disk manager but there also was 2 drives ....
I can create and allocated a new fresh drive but I have tons of wedding video projects on those drives ...
Now I open my CPU cabinet ... and can feel the Hard disk is too hot when touched .... I have kept it separated for few minutes..
I wish everything is fine and Files and drives are normal ...
Plz say what should I do ...or whats going happen

my new drive (1TB) says storage pool rather than in allocated and i can’t change it to primary

at 4:09 I dont get the option to create a new simple volume why is this?
Make sure you have deleted this volume correctly, and then you will have an option to create a new volume. Remember, you are going to give up the data if you remove or delete it. Hope that will help. Please subscribe if it does. Thanks

Your problem is just missing in your document right? Mine I have click manage this pc and still couldn't find it in disk management and it stated that only one ssd. I guess maybe it is broken😔

What do you do if it doesn’t show in the disk management either? It shows in the device manager though. (I’m assuming it works the same on windows 11)

I have à problem too...
When i go to thé disk manager, it doesnt show my D: diretory... just à "Disk 0" with 120 GB free (can be thé space remaining on my old D: diretory) but it isnt in "Unallocated " there is nothing near it... What can i do... idc about loosing data tbh

Hi pcphone. My hdd keeps disappearing after a reboot or shutdown so i have to manually put the letter path ( D:/F: etc). Is there any fix for it so i dont have to put the path everytime i boot cuz it doesnt show up unless i do it manually. Installed it the correct way, checked the cable each one same happens. It even said the hdd is healthy and my data is undamaged but it just disappear after a reboot or shutdown i have to enable it manually is there any fix

@@pravesh2339 sadly i havent brother. Theres a valuable Data thats too much to copy im afraid doing things cuz my files could get deleted. But the problem doesnt bother me that much so i just set it manually every boot. But there are actually some problems that bothers me, i cant install some software on that manual disk. It installs right to C even if i set it to D (manual disk)

One of the best videos I've watched in a long time
I have a different issue. My 3rd HDD is not being detected every time on first boot or cold boot. After having the PC off for a long time and I power it up, my 3rd HDD or Drive E is not detected and the PC boots a lot slower than it normally does, about twice as slow.
When I restart it via selecting restart in the start menu, the problem persists.
When I restart it via shutting it down, waiting for a few seconds and then powering it up again, all of a sudden everything runs fine, all of my HDD are detected and my PC boots fast (around 35s which is fast for me at least).
If your SSD storage device is not showing in your computer the EASIEST of solutions is : 1) if you have a second SSD or hard drive, unplug the the cable from it. 2) Unplug the cable from the faulty one. 3) Plug in the cable from the other SSD and VOILA problem solved. Your SSD will show in your PC and all the data will be there etc,etc.

Computer Management is finding both SSD drives, but Disk Management is not finding the second SSD and there is no unallocated space or second drive. Is my drive incompatible or am I missing something?
