Awesome video! You made so many amazing projects in that room! Fun to see it. And, I have to say that I felt a real kindred spirit moment when your twine fell and you mentioned The Abyss. I have one in my craft room too.
Haha!! I'm glad I'm not the only one with an Abyss!! 😂 I found a whole bunch of things I thought I had lost when we moved the furniture to move, including packets of embellies, a trimmer blade and a few of my favourite washis!
Well, after a year’s hiatus, I had to rejoin your patreon group again because I love love love your content and my husband has even asked about how you guys are doing since I used to have your videos on so much! Lol
You have done such an amazing job documenting you family’s life. I love the kid’s art journals. They are such treasures. I kept my daughters stuff in boxes by year hoping to create a journal for each year when I had time. She is now 34 and I haven’t started yet. I retire in 2024. Maybe then I will make those journals. The moral of the story - you never really have time, you just have to prioritize it. You have done an excellent job making that happen. Tfs. Susan
Aww thanks Susan! It's the one thing that I feel up to date with. My parents' have given me two huge boxes of artworks and school books that I'm hoping to go through and organise in a more orderly (and easy to look through) fashion next year. It can feel like a very daunting task though! It would be such a nice retirement project to hop into next year for you 😊💗

Well, I am planning to have a floating desk in my new craft room too. I think I will have quicker access to more things because a lot will be right in front of me on the desk and a lot will be just behind me. Been wondering how much trouble running electric cords to it will be, and I don't have your problem of lights for filming. I do hope it works for me better than my old plan did and wish you good luck with yours. Can't imagine packing up your whole room in three days! 😊

Yes I filmed this the week before Christmas when we moved last year, I mentioned in part 1 about the delay 😊 It's been a rollercoaster of life things the last six months lol. Thanks for watching!

You've been around for a whole lot of craft room tours!! Wow! It's definitely grown and changed over the years 😂 I will probably have the next tour up at the end of the year after I rearrange my current set up a bit more... you know we can't leave any furniture in one place for too long!
I’m so curious how your new craft room is working out. I had a floating desk. I loved as it gave me more room to organize and I could have a half and half room (one since scrapbooking, one side art journaling).
Totally agree with TikTok. Love to watch the videos on it but to create content my brain goes to mush.

Love the separation into warm and cool tones. Makes life so much easier and I’ve never considered that before. When my craft room is finished (currently renovating our 1950s home) it’s definitely something I will do within my new setup x

My July project is a craft room rearrange!! 🙌🏻 I can't leave the furniture in the same spot for too long hehe. I just uploaded an unpack and organise video of this new craft room to Patreon if you're interested in seeing how it is now after the move 😊 I'll be uploading a new craft room. tour at the end of the year once I rearrange everything again. It will be fun to see how you get to your craft room in the new accommodation. You simply get to furnish the way you think you want... change if it doesn't work as you go :-)
I have my craft room in the master bedroom. There is a whole wall, a window and door to the balcony, a door that goes out to the kitchen (which I have placed a Kallax against), five wardrobes and a door that goes in. I have my desk almost in the middle, with a 2x4 Kallax behind the desk, a 2x2 Kallax on the right side and two Helmers standing on top of each other on the left side. On one wall, with the door going inwards, I have a Kallax 5x5. Two Råskog and one Råshult. As well as a "filing" bureau and an office bureau where there are two racks for hanging files and a large surface with room for six 12x12" ArtBins. On Kallax behind / in front of my desk I have three mine bureaus, Moppe, from Ikea.
I still have that 4x6 photo layout magazine. Love your tour. Can't wait to see your new craft room.
Thanks Gayle! I'm about to rearrange my new craft room again😂 we've been in this house for six months now and I am finally getting a feel for the room and how I can change things around to make it easier to keep everything organised...and not on the floor hehe.
