In today's video I talk about how I believe Bo Nix is an underrated QB. Since the NFL draft the Denver Broncos have been criticized with the selection of Bo Nix, and I disagree with the criticism.
Severely underrated! It’s like everyone is still judging Auburn Bo Nix. Highest quarter back iq in the draft to my view. And pairing up with Sean Payton… lot of people are going to eat their words with this guy. He legit is all ball. Only Oregon player that was sitting in all the coaches meetings. 77 % completion, 45 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions. And go back and look at those interceptions, 2 of them bounced out of the receivers hands. And then you throw in that experience he has, with over 60 starts in college. I’m not a broncos fan, nor was I a Bo Nix fan. Especially when he transferred from aurburn. I was mad hating him thinking he was sub par at best… But man he changed my opinion quickly, halfway through our first season with him. To now us Oregon fans have the debate of him potentially being the goat for Oregon quarterbacks… with only 2yrs with the Ducks. Can’t wait for him to quiet the critics. And Rookie of The Year is not that bold of a statement, again little bias but y’all just watch. #NixforSix 🦆
First thing: Forget about his age. Very few QBs stick with their first team their whole career. If Denver gets eight years out of Bo Nix, that'll be great. Second, all the nonsense about arm strength is so irritating. He threw 59 mph at the Combine. That's plenty hard enough to throw a deep ball, and Nix has excellent touch on his deep ball. Third, Nix has excellent touch on EVERY throw. He also throws with excellent anticipation, which is how he gets rid of the ball in under 2.5 seconds, on average. Bo Nix has quick feet, scrambles well, throws on target, and makes good decisions. He's going to win games immediately, as soon as he becomes the starter.
It's hilarious to hear people say that Bo Nix is too old. How many younger guys come into the league without enough experience and are immature on top of that? QB's are playing longer than ever, even into their forties. We have a head coach that is looking for a specific type of QB and we have that specific type of QB with enough proven talent entering the league at the same time. This should be a great match and hopefully, Sean Payton won't push Nix too hard, too quickly. The speed of the game is going to be plenty to adjust to, giving the rookie QB too much to digest, just because he is intelligent, is not something that should happen. Bo Nix is being underrated and over hated, that's right. Look at how many people were high on Bryce Young and were down on CJ Stroud because of his Wonderlic test score? How'd that work out? Big year for Bo Nix, even if the Broncos aren't that great overall.
THANK YOU! Absolutely agree that the Broncos' pick has been over-hated and underrated. He looks to be highly intelligent, focused, a student of the game, more athletic than people think, and completely can make every throw with accuracy and the right type of touch. He goes into a system of mostly vets - makes it so much easier on a rookie QB! Sutton, Patrick, Mims, Trautman, Dulcich (hopefully), Williams, Perine, McLaughlin, the entire OL... It's actually a similar set that Herbert went into with LAC, though a better OL imo. Plus he is Sean Payton's pick and will fit the system of timed routes, solid running game to feed the passing game, and hit the deep ball when the time is right. Thanks for the breakdown! Love it and will share!
If he can’t win with Harbaugh in a couple years I’ll agree (as a chargers fan) that he isn’t good. But I believe with Harbaugh we won’t blow a 27-0 lead lmao
Nix just don't have any good player start off his rookie's season like Herbert. Justin has Keenan Allan, Mike Williams and Eckler on his rookie season they're all great pass catcher receivers gets open every down for him!
Nix will be better than Herbert. Herbert may post good stats but Herbert has ZERO clutch factor in college and now in the NFL, Herbert is just a Fantasy Football star that was surrounded by great talent when he was shoved into the starting lineup.
Bold take there. That I would disagree with. The game vs the Jaguars wasn’t great, but he had a really clutch 4th Q vs the Raiders a few years back. Herbert is also one of the best deep ball throwers in the league too. I like Bo Nix, can’t see him passing Herbert tho.
@@HeyItsCole_ Well wait and see, it's ALL about the "IT" factor you either have it or you dont. Herbert has very little to none clutch factor and thats what separates the the better QB's, stats alone does not determine a QB's greatness unless they get the win and Herbert has had enough time to prove that he can't get the W's when relied upon and I know its a team game but the great ones find a way. Herbert is only good for Fantasy Football he doesnt give much more than that.
Here we go again. It's been eight going on nine seasons of how "the Denver Broncos (in one form or another) is going to shock everyone". News flash... The Denver Broncos are NOT a good team and was never an incomplete pass away from an AFC championship. Insert excuse here. The issue of Bo Nix can not even be addressed until the elephant in the room itself is addressed first, and that is the issue of the Denver Broncos front office. For whatever stupid reasons (views, subs?), content creators will tell you each season... "You'll see it will be different this season". The author should explore why Harbaugh (forget Herbert) would NOT sign on with the Broncos no matter how much money and trips to Michigan Broncos owner Greg Penner would personally take to get his #1 coach choice hire too sign on. Sean Payton took the bribe to play in the 'front office' sandbox that Harbaugh knew better to get involved with. Bo Nix has a lot working against him that content creators won't talk about, the Denver Broncos themselves.
I never said the Broncos would shock everyone… but Bo Nix will. I even mentioned I don’t think it will be this year either. I did talk about the concerns about the Broncos too with their receivers and defense.
@@HeyItsCole_ So ONLY Nix will be successful, and by default, the Broncos won't share in that 'supposed' success? Huh? You don't think this organization (front office) that has a history of sending QB's packing sooner rather than later, is going to be patient with Nix? How can a QB be successful on a team of overhyped 'just guys'? No QB is a 'raise the ships' individual. Especially Bo Nix. Mahomes was on a legit 53 roster before he ever took a snap. Brady stepped into a super bowl contending team day one as a rookie. Thanks for the spirited debate.
Herbert has set lofty expectations ???? Lmao of what??? Dudes the most over rated most excuse made for QB I’ve ever seen!!!! Dude does nothing but lose games putting up stats in garbage time! Nix is gonna be a superstar manning Bree’s type of quarterback watch! The best in the draft class watch!!! Cosch Payton was the perfect landing spot for this young man

Justin Herbert what the hell has he accomplished ?
Be a borderline if not top 5 QB in the league
Accomplished the highest money bag🤣

Still underrating the entire team, good video though!
You can do better than being boring
What is Justin Herbert done lol. Lofty expectations 🤣

Herbert is QB in a very mediocre offense. He needs a lot more talent around him.

@@wildcat4837why you talk like this
