Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, in Bangalore, India, is an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu Sultan. Hyder Ali commenced its construction within the walls of the Bangalore Fort, and it was completed during the reign of Tipu Sultan in 1791. After Tipu Sultan's death in the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War, the British Administration used the palace for its Secretariat before moving to Attara Kacheri in 1868. Today the government of Karnataka maintains the palace, which is located at the center of Old Bangalore near the Kalasipalyam bus stand, as a tourist spot.

Ya...It is definitely worth seeing. The little known fact is that there is a mini museum in one of the bigger rooms on the ground floor. The best display is a mini replica of the Tipu Tiger toy. Besides there was what appeared to be a collection of javelins on the left side of the palace

Good to see a historical place like this it gives goosebumps when we see tippu sultan palace and mysore palace and many others. but it's sad government not showing any interest to take care this palace itseems walls are scrached it's not well maintained..where as mysore palace is in a good condition.
these are the memories to remember history....it should be well maintained.... Very sad...
