breakers could be so great its sad the devs really dont seem to be putting in the effort anymore
Devs are genuinely putting in the effort, but the company is killing them. Not enough employees (Bandai Namco keeps shrinking the staff), not enough funding (that's not new for Bandai Namco tho - they abandon games that don't give them millions$$$ a year).
S6 showed just how pressed for time they were. No new map. No new Survivor skin for Dragon Tier. No multi-Skill Survivors. Only 1 new Spirit. Why? Because they were pushed to make Baby with his new mechanics.
You're asking a team that's so small in numbers that they struggle to get things out in a proper SEASON (ain't no season in a year has 4 months) to COMPLETELY change the makeup of the game with Baby's mechanics!
Civilians were coded to never move! But now they can. Jumping between them, turning on/off their controls. Allowing Survivor transformations to be copied/pasted into smarter NPCs. Locking/unlocking skill mechanics. The amount of bugs between each of these must've been a headache and a half to deal with!
S6 is SAD in amount of content. But mechanically, this is near the same level of adding Steve into Smash Ultimate (ALL THE LEVELS HAD TO BE ADJUSTED FOR HIM).
Devs are working hard. Bandai Namco ain't.
You mean they did once? But, in all seriousness, i think they know this game will possibly die when sparking zero comes out, so now they are just putting in the minimum effort possible now. at least in my opinion thats the case

Im so glad i have a tier 50 dragon star skin every season because its fun to grind towards. Jaco was a huge upgrade to how unique he was. Im so sure the next season will have something better!

Personally, as someone who's played since launch, i think this game will be very lucky to make it past season 7. Its been obvious since they stopped story in s4 that bandai has been cutting workforce and money on this game, and I feel like its a bit cope to say the game will get better in the future when the downword slope of content has had no signs of stopping since almost a year ago.
I loved this game, but im not staying on the ship as it sinks.
It looks easy to me. DBTB made you who you are today. You did a great job. It's okay if you quit. We all have to do what makes us happy.
And, if we want to follow youtubers covering Sparking Zero, we'll watch the many youtubers that have always played the previous games and that cover DBXV2. Because those games are similar, so might as well follow youtubers that are faithful to those games. DBXV2 is regularly trash talked, yet some youtubers don't care about it and keep on covering it.
There are other youtubers covering DBTB. There will be youtubers covering it until it exists.
It's no such a big deal for viewers. We will always have some youtuber to follow.

I aint touching this game until they fix it. (This is coming from a person with over 1000 hours on this game) baby is cool, but the survivor nerfs are absolutely horrible and robbing us of a new map is crazy.

Some people just dont understand. Yes, there are people who play Breakers because its the only one source of new dragon ball content, game-wise (if you dislike xenoverse), but other people like it because they enjoy the game mode.
Breakers cant replace Sparking Zero, and Sparking Zero cant replace Breakers. They are completely different games.
Its as if call of duty players began to worry because the next soccer game is coming out. That doesnt make one little bit of sense.

while i have "disagreements" with his take on etm gamers! iron here is more to that, and I have come to realize that. his character/perk showcases help new players and returning players alike.
his content is literally one of the best dbtb on youtube when it comes coverage and news. and imo if he cut back on the constant ETM hate he'd be 100% a great resource for dbtb community!
You might say that both games can co-exist but sparking zero will absolutely affect breakers and other db games.
in short do what you enjoy, split content if you want I've been thinking breakers is best played a little less often for a long time now, though I can't even play at all since every match in season 6 bugs out for me even after a reinstall

Yeah, the matchmaking is so bad this season, that it kept booting me to the title screen. It happened so many times that the game gave me temporary bans that lasts 10-15 minutes. I ended up getting banned 25 times. Barely got to play any matches since the season launched. A lot of players are dealing with the same thing, getting constantly banned due to disconnects.
For now, I won't touch Breakers until either a mid-Season update fixes these issues, or until Season 7 is live.

I love breakers but like you said it deserves so much more love and content, I agree.
Not to overstep your intentions as a creator. I think you may be worried, that you would loose your audience if you switch to other content from Breakers. While I know you are still growing and value your consistency, I think just playing the games you love is what matters the most. Not trying to speak for you just commenting on what I notice. One think I can say for sure, if you are a creator your audience will stay for you. Not just the game. You may loose some people initially, but you will gain so much more as you expand. Just dont fear expanding out and reaching new audiences. You can be a voice for breakers while also exploring other games like Sparking. Hope this helps and doesn't come off presumptuous.

Ngl, I haven’t even been playing the new season for a couple weeks now. I even picked Fighterz back up some over playing Breakers. Breakers has gotten its time and multiple chances out of me just to flop on us each time. Personally, I wouldn’t blame you if you left Breakers and I’m sure most of us wouldn’t. I probably won’t even think about playing Breakers once Sparking Zero drops

This Season only made me want Baby Vegeta, Dragon Fist and the new Skills and Transformations of the upcoming SS4s. (Maybe Gogeta too if we get lucky.) Everything else was either mid or raw for me to care. If you don't have hope, you can't be disappointed. 🍷🗿
I fought a premade as goku black, got key rush and they didnt let me lvl up past lv2 and in the end i won with 4bar of health. Granted 5 of them escaped, if they hadn't nerf vanish that bad, i woulda probably lost.

Despite everything I’m very sure that Breakers is not at its lowest point. I think it can get worse. The worst raider release they can ever do is Super era Freiza. Where it’s just first Frieza. And then final Frieza, Gold, and Black for the level ups. That is the absolute lowest effort release they are capable of doing. Until something like that happens then it can be worse
I quit breakers just because survivors aren’t fun anymore with all the recent changes I’m a person is played this game since day one And on the PlayStation beta i’ve really enjoyed this game I’m hundreds of hours into this game it’s sad about in the current state they don’t change a lot soon I’m going to Permanently quit the game

When this game came out people hated on this game day one and never gave it much of a chance. Since then, the community grew through that and a symptom of that, that we're seeing rn, is preemptive rejection in order to avoid potential future hurt. These people who make those comments are trying to protect themself from anticipated emotional pain by taking control of the situation. Its really silly like they're trying to "out" you but just keep doing what you want and they should be alright
