Depending on where you are, there are a variety of codes & signals used to indicate emergency responses. Such as Code-3, 10-39 & Code-Red all meaning an emergency requiring lights, sirens and get there as soon as possible. If I had to guess, I would say this was an officer in trouble call. Which is basically an all out, everyone who can gets there as fast as possible (or faster) because an officer needs immediate assistance. Every cop within radio range will respond like this.
responding to a panic alarm or an active shooter? I don't know what else as I'm English and they only have a panic button which alerts all units of their position and they code 3/ I grade there.
@@joed9491 Its common for people who think they know what they are talking about to think code 2 means just lights, its just straight up not the case. You are right, code 2 means respond quickly, no lights and sirens. I think people are watching too much GTAV police mods and assuming they know what they are talking about.
In Glynn County, Georgia the fire department also had a volunteer crew. This is coastal Georgia and includes Saint Simons Island, Sea Island and Brunswick. The volunteer dept was 55 personel. Aside from a little bit of training, the volunteers were allowed to have a red light and siren, in their personal cars. Can you guess where this is going? Pretty soon, these volunteers are speeding, code 3, down busy streets in the city of Brunswick, to pick up their kids or just for fun. Saint Simons is a very congested Island year round. Often grid locked in the summer. A genuine problem, except if you have a code 3 set up in your personal car. Complaints poured in and the volunteers had to remove the lights and siren. 40 of the 55 quit.
@@HamiltonPowellhampow93 - I know red lights and sirens are allowed in some volunteers depts, as I saw one such person respond code 3, to the FD in a Wisconsin suburb in his pickup truck, and it was the volunteer station.
Gregory Johnson Uh Code 3 means lights and sirens but not going 10 over the speed limit. You *CAN* go over the speed limit by 10, if need be. So while your response isnt wrong its not exactly right either... :P
A ballz Yeah, states are different and while the rule states you *CAN* go over speed limit by 10 the wording is right there. You *CAN*, meaning that you're capable of going over 10 if you have to, or you can go 80MPH or maybe even 35. It all depends on, situation, environment, and people/cars around you.
One of the best known is the Code 3 Response, which is used in several countries, particularly the United States, to describe a mode of response for an emergency vehicle responding to a call. It is commonly used to mean "use lights and siren."
Flashing lights...pull to the right. Amazing how many people either arent paying attention, not sure what to do, or just dont give a sheet.
So 3 cops went code 1
Raylaw123
One went code 2
@@meadowbrookinvesting6356 it was code 1 no lights or Sirens were activated
also im dying to know what the call is
i get goosebumps everytime i hear the supercharged 4.6.
A supercharger always makes a whine sound

How was life as a cop?
Ah, I love the great use of the sirens. People definitely moved out of the way when they heard them.
Donuts were 50% off that day
HAHAHAHAHAHAH
You’re a piece of 💩
How original
"Code Blue" - I think you meant code 3... Nice video though, love that Charger at the end
Eight cops for a cardiac arrest?!?! Don't believe it. Nice catch, though!
Shooow. Valeu... saudades da época em que estava na ativa...
responding to a panic alarm or an active shooter? I don't know what else as I'm English and they only have a panic button which alerts all units of their position and they code 3/ I grade there.
The title was originally stating a code blue. But I think it was an error since I doubt they'd send 7 units C3 to someone who isn't breathing.
My school has master panic button
Oscar Miles-Hussey ehhh idk I’ve seen a lot of units respond to medicals b4
Ig, but why would they send 7 officers, or more to a medical call? I mean maybe 1 or 2 for traffic, but idk.
That's really nice vid
Hi honey, have a nice day at work?
I got to use my siren today!
Sadly the Motorola Spectra is dissapearing :( that's my favourite siren
Agreed we still have some here in Arkansas
@@Cad2441 The older Pine Bluff police cars & Jefferson County Sheriff cars have it
@anthonyholmes195 yes we do
For most states for United States
Code 1 no light no sirens
Code 2 just lights
Code 3 lights and sirens
Code 4 is all clear
B_1Lancerz actually code 4 is under control or no farther asstiance required
Code 2 - Lights only when responding, use siren at intersections
for all of U.S. i think
Most places I've seen Code-1 means routine response. Code-2 means expedite but no lights or siren.

must be a hell of a sale at the donut shop.
Maybe a 44 caliber sale.
Do people realize that most LEO and EMS/FIRE get coffee and donuts for free but at certain places
Donn Lewis you have no sense of humor
Lol
Code 3 is lights and sirens in police code. No code blue! It doesn't tell us where they were headed to but code 3 is very serious.
When krispy kreme has a sale but closes in 2 minutes
XD lol
A cardiac arrest
Woah, I vacation there.
Wow
these crown vics are so nice but now they arent so often especially in NYPD
Most likely another cop requesting backup. If only a home invasion involving a civie garnered that response.....
You must be in a weird place, here you get ten cops for a welfare check
Woah awesome catch
those are nice cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the last charger had the horn siren activation kit in it. I hate those there a pain if not setup properly.
In New York City, NYPD respond with more vehicles
Amazing
That was at Hilton Head Island South Carolina
Nice catch!
HURRY UP THE COFFEE IS GETTING COLD!!
Wow, it's a police car with its lights on! Gee....what do I do?
1:02 I assume there was like a robbery or something that required them to not be noticed as easily seen as this guy downgraded code.
police code blue is "bus/cab in trouble" isnt it ?
ah he changed the title to "code 3" ;-)
much better
Old lady J walking!
If I saw that many cops all I would think it ZOMBIES or WORLD WAR Z
Love that sencom saphire on the first unmarked vehicle!
Nice :D
When theirs free food
Where is this? I've never heard of cops using different colored lights to signify a coded response. Around here we only have full bar or no bar.
My guess will probably be somewhere in Florida.
Nice last Dodge Charger SRT8 '12
video will be up shortly
the police department giving away free donuts
really a v6 charger at the end, WTF
+Parker B FHP uses Chargerz
LOL the V6 Chargers of today have more HP than my '99, '04 and '05 4.6 V8 Crown Vic PI's
i just assumed they used the Hemi since they have to floor it several times on a daily basis
No this is a 6.4 V8
Yes this is code 3 but also looks like a panic button press
Any thoughts on what type of call they were going to? Hate to use a bad pun, but seven cars is a little overkill :-)
