Next time you are going to spend your money on another designer bag, remember that this woman needed the help of her entire village to buy a flying ticket. We have to care more about each other.
Please let me know where you have been donating so I can support.
I want her to di the deal with Robert an emma
Robert an Emma was a better offer
I just bought my cat a designer sweater
@@greasyguido I gave to people I personally know in my neighborhood.
Robert helped on that deal so much bless him ❤
Worst Shark ever IMO.
Yeah, cus he sucks at all other times
@@Thanatos15 You took the words right out of my mouth.
Robert is fantastic idk what y'all on about. I'd take him over Damon or Lorrie.
@@edwarddewit43 Second worst closing rate, hasn't hit a homerun with his investments like other sharks have done, and he is very pretentious. PASS!!!
Robert knew exactly what he was doing. He saw 4 sharks jumping on that debt deal and he was like "im sure i can pressure atleast one of them to do it without debt" and he did it. That was so nice of him
She should have done 8% with Robert and 8% with Mark. Ain't no way I'm picking the woman who doesn't drink coffee. Also she needs to go direct to consumer, coffee ships well. Her margins are garbage in a grocery store.
@@SarahRamsingh 300% agree with you also Emma seemed to not even want to budge at 12.5% then would do 8% at the pressure of others - I would go with a founder who has alittle more independent thinking.
@@SarahRamsinghyeah, the lady knew that she would probably take her over robert considering theyre both women of color, didnt even try to raise his offer i feel bad for the entrepreneur she deserves more
Entrepreneur has a heartfelt moment with the sharks on how her whole village chipped in for her ticket to the US.
Kevin: “I’m very impressed…but I want to go back to the business.”
Never fails lol
Lol he's always like "Let's skip all the Kumbaya"
Correct me if I'm wrong but I noticed that Kevin never asks about the entrepreneurs' background but always the one who directs back the conversation to the business (sales/customer acquisition/etc). I mean it's not wrong but it tells a lot about Kevin.
@@pipipdj3682indeed, it’s always Lori
He’s so direct 😅💀
@@pipipdj3682Well yeah
I am a coffee roaster based in kenya. I am so proud of you home girl
No KENYA COFFEE IN EUROPE.
No KENYA COFFEE SHOPS in LONDON.
@@michaelheery6303really?

@@michaelheery6303ooh really... I can ship some sachets to you..
I hope the DP didn't see this.😅
Emma was trying to squeeze her. Robert actually helped her get a better deal. I think she should have gone with Robert.
Same
I think the same! Robert helps her to obtain the best deal. She should go with him.
Right cause Emma doesn’t even drink coffee. Lol
2 sharks or rvenb3 sharks
I also think the same for Robert because he showed more of a passion for what she had than Emma
her offer for 8% for 150k wasnt the smartest idea, glad robert pulled her out of that mistake
Yeah lol the loan was irrelevant there, she could have got a $200k loan from anywhere without losing equity just a big interest payment. So essentially she was offering 8% for $150k that was almost a royal mistake.
Robert knew what he was doing there..big respect to him
Black women tried to rip off another black woman BUT luckily Robert stepping in & helped.
Stop making everything about race.
@@chickenfriedwaffles you do
That woman was taking advantage and literally was ripping her off on disguise of empowerment. You don't select a person bc the color matches, this isn't a matching game this is business. 😂 Not sure why she still went with her after she bullied her. She should have went with Robert that woman seems like she would take the business really quick.😊
It’s all about business….
@@chickenfriedwafflesThe woman on the show was making it about race. The product was using identity to manipulate sales.
Robert got her that deal! Shoutout Robert
He is nice for a shark 🦈
So, Emma tells Kevin he's crazy for valuing her so low then makes an offer nearly matching Kevin's valuation? She didnt deserve to get that deal over Robert.
Black almost always choose black and women almost always choose women. So. Times that by 2
@@TheLirJEt86 Wait Emma is black?
@@desckfulpieceofsht Lol bruh ofc not, She's white like the snow
@@desckfulpieceofshtDoes she look white to you?.
@@TheLirJEt86It's a female-based business model. It's better if she got a female business partner, which she did.
No, I would not have gone with Emma. She was pretty firm on ripping her off until she realized she wouldn’t accept her deal and there was competition
And she doesn’t even drink coffee!!!!
I really though she would go with Robert too
Exactly this. Robert got her the better offer, should have gone with him. He's also the right shark for these kind of things.
Margaret crying...soft music in the background....Mr. Wonderful "...i want to go back to the business....." love him 😅
He doesn't make business personal 😂
❤❤❤❤❤
He's not wrong, you're asking for money lol.
😂😂😂😂
Hongera Margaret! You represented our Kenyan woman well. May your ventures thrive 🇰🇪
🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Kenya to the world
It's how she got the 350k from 12% to 8% for me
Yea fr it felt like Robert and mark have done the best part.
A typical shark tank Pitch: I sold my house to raise funds for this business and my Dad's in Coma.
Kevin: That's touching, let's talk through the sales numbers to explain your crazy valuation
😭
"While Lori is crying, I'll make you an offer"
😅😅
That's why we love Kevin. Get's the show back on track.
I think that's a good thing
When Kevin came out of his mother, on the delivery table his first words were “It’s a commodity”
Robert actually helped her to get better deal, Great guy!!!
Robert gave her the deal she wanted even though the he didn't need to, Emma at first absolutely refused the conditions proposed by Nyamumbo. She even shut her down and refused to negotiate. It made more sense to go with Robert, the only reason i can think of that motivated her to go with Emma is that they're both black Women
But Emma has more negotiating power in that space
Agreed, it makes more sense to go with Robert. Emma even admitted she doesn't even like or drink coffee. She has no passion in the business. She only got the deal because she is also a black woman.
12:40
@@freezasama5802 Lmao
That is a reasonable reason. 😊🙂
Getting a scholarship for an MBA program in Harvard is almost unheard of. This girl is definitely different.
She got it because she's black
She said it was a undergrad scholarship not mba scholarship
😂😂😂bro didn’t listen
That's the power of affirmative action in action.
@@troletraindon’t be stupid. Affirmative action does not apply to non U.S. citizens. She is from Kenya
Am a Kenyan and i am very proud of her for the achievement.its a common phenomenon when one gets a chance to travel abroad,a village fundraiser is the only option.Hongera sana 🎉
Wonderful.
Everyone feeling emotional
Kevin: "Okay, i want to go back to business" 😂🤣
Tbh I hate how the show tries to do all the woke sappy crap. We get it. The woman is using her identity to manipulate people into buying her product but does she have sales? lol
Im so weak omfggg. Im really laughing at how they all accepted her offer at the end im dead😂😂
Yea because it was a 1.8 million evaluation she messed up big time 350k for 12.5 is 2.8 million evaluation she basically was going down on her worth
Kevin : "I'm very impressed but I wanna go back to the business " Man's got no emotions 😂
He is a shark 🤣
Said I'm out and went back to drinking the coffee😂😂
He just says what the audience is thinking haha
i like kevin's nature. he is very clearly. people who have such nature are really honest.
Robert helped her get Emma to 8%. 😅
My kenyan people making us proud....I looove how composed she is ❤
🇰🇪
I’ve seen this brand in a store and was immediately a proud Ugandan! We call it Kawa!
I don't know why she went for Emma considering she's not even passionate about coffee. Robert was the ideal shark on this deal.
You don’t see the marketing aspect? It is a long term move. That differentiates this coffee from many other brands that are equally good. Although i personally would prefer Robert.
Robert helped her out so much
You represented us well Margaret 🇰🇪🇰🇪
🇰🇪
Represented Kenya and Kenyan coffee very well. Kudos.
Margaret's approach to coffee isn't just about taste; it's about social impact. Tipping the farmers directly? Genius!
Congratulations Nyamumbo. We love you from Kenya❤
They sell this coffee and Sprouts and it is so good. Definitely not for the faint. It’s bold, earthy, and super strong. I haven’t had a cup of this coffee in maybe two years (pregnancy, caffeine fasts) and I can literally taste it while typing this.
I would’ve went with Robert and he loves coffee. He started that better deal also.
That girl can't be stopped. The world is open, it's a question of the speed .
Episode isn't even over and I'm already looking at the chai coffee to be delivered. I'm sold
Thanks alot Robert you own a lot of credit here
Love love so proud of this lady. Thank you for remembering the lovely women in the farms. Such an amazing concept
She stood firm. I’m happy for her and extremely inspired.
One of the best tank clips imo. Great product story and entrepreneur. Kevin was hilarious. Guest shark got a tailored deal. Robert made it all happen to the benefit of the entrepreneur.
this might be the best Shark Tank Story I have ever seen, I love the power of example, and this is such a success story. Kahawa Kenyan Coffe Brand
East Africa she said! It’s easy to mention Ethiopia for the origin of coffee!
It is Somalia btw.
I know it was funny 😂
She kept the credit to Kenya and for Kenya.Great
I hope she did something back for her village now that she has a successful business. Incredible story.
didnt you hear the 20k she raised for the farmers
Her whole business is something for the village, the brand the fact she's getting it from her village also🎉
People dont understand that when you drink East African coffee and tea, youll NEVER GO BACK
I'm going to see if her stuff is on Amazon. I have never tasted coffee but want to try her stuff
So much love for the Kenyan people 🇰🇪💕
Good bless you and your dream. Nothing makes me more proud than an African making us all proud and God bless your village for they made it possible( now just make sure you don’t forget them)
That Village Fundraise story is a classic Uongo many people tell.🤣🤣🤣
and the fake tears
Technically it's not the village ... BUT it's usually relatives ... Like rich uncles, aunts and family friends ... Plus, let's not forget the relative who donates their house to receive them.
How do you know???
It is true for many regions in Kenya except one !
My beautiful Kenyan lady, that was amazing. You make the African women so proud. Congratulations l am hooting for you from Seattle.
A girl from home doing well 🇰🇪❤❤
Congratulations 🎉
Robert helped her get the deal, and he loves coffee, would have been win - win.
she must be like villages hope, very good young lady n hope it works out
Eyy man this particular episode is just mind blowing!😂😂Just see how them sharks are bidding to be on her team.

Best coffee in the world grows in Ethiopia, birth place of coffee 🎉
Glad and proud of nyamumbo.
Robert was clutch with the assist, well played.
One time for Robert. I dont really think he wanted to be a part of the deal, he was just bailing her out in the negotiation! Much respect!
I understand Mr Wonderful's assessment, however, not all the time is about numbers. The other sharks saw the bigger picture and how this brand could grow exponencial
Robert couldn't believe his eyes😅, he was a great help tho ❤
Congratulations my Kenyan sister. I too grew up in Kenya and still own a few acres of a coffer farm I inherited from my father (though I live in the US now) You've done something remarkable here. I can't wait to see you take this to a billion dollar company.
This was great! One of the best I've watched in a long time. Great business too. I'll definitely check out the coffee next time I'm in trader Joe's
She made me cry. Wueh!
I’ve always wondered if Lori wears a wig and this episode confirmed it; no hate, I’ve just always been curious!
Wow So PROUD of her 💗
I am in high spirits watching this. God Bless Your Business

I would go for Robert his so nice 😊
Should’ve gone with Robert. Girl in the yellow wasn’t moving to 8% till Robert said something
She's a great and determined person and will be able to succeed I'm sure. Thank God they helped her
Robert is really smart, good man👍👍👍
I know this show is staged for entertainment purposes, but I like the positive matriarchal message it brings.
It won't be staged in the projected global communities, real deal.
Just for ur knowledge, Ethiopia 🇪🇹 is the origin of coffee 😊, next time i will be at that stage after I grew my brand Bakos coffee
Glad we entered the chat. She should have said Kahawa is Arabic for coffee and be honest to say Ethiopia is the birth place of coffee.
Kahawa is also used in Swahili, why would she say its arabic? Find your own to go represent ya'll and stop hating on a sister!
@@brianmutua3694 because it is arabic whether you like it or not.
Swahili does have Arabian influence so some words are shared but I don't know arabic and I know kahawa is coffee in swahili, so either way we are both correct.
she said eastafrica. Ethiopia is in Eastafrica. For your informations cush land covered all places from up north in egypt to down in places like uganda, keny, Somalia. Remember Ethiopia borders kenya so that means at the borders its same people.
You are street smart. You met their level and swam in the shark tank. Kudos! to you
WOW!!!❤GREAT INSPIRSTIIN FOR KENYANS. GO GIRL🎉
This was just wholesome
She killed it! Way to go
Mannnn. Loved how Mark simplified the deal. 😂❤

Robert gets offended very easily! 😅
Wakanda forever
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 why
why do people say that whenever they see African people?😂😂😂😂😂
@@sipho1987 I mean Wakanda was supposed to be in East Africa. She’s from East Africa.
Enough with the movie nonsense, please. This is the real world.
Kenya to the World, so proud for her and so proud to be Kenyan!
She's awsome!!! Hope she makes it big💪
Kevin was right about the 2.8 million offer. He is the most realistic shark sometimes. Emma mocked him and then went on to use Kevin's idea to make an offer. Emma doesn't seem good enough to be on Shark Tank!
Kevin never fails to represent America.
He’s Canadian
Americans...canadian they are wired biz first, anything else later...if it will reduce my money...am out!
Such incredible gesture ❤
I’ve always got specialty coffee, and I tried every coffee on the shelf too. I recently tried Kahwa picking it up from fresh market. I didn’t know the story before now about the brand, but this is the closest to specialty coffee you can get off the shelf and the price per oz is one of the cheapest. My favorite (by far) over the shelf coffee.
4 sharks on the 8% deal 350k … why didn’t she take that? They all wouldve exploded that coffee business all over. A missed shark tank historical moment in the making
That's 32% of her company gone.
Someone doesn't understand business at all
There were no 4 sharks! Only two! Mark said he could do similar deal.
This was a horrible deal. She would'd valued her business from 7 million to 1.875 million. The debt part was horrible. Thank god Robert saved her
@@AnnihilationRBLX someone doesn’t know how to explain something without putting others down clearly

I will do 12% if the half a percent is bothering you and boom 8%
Picking someone who doesn’t drink coffee isn’t really the best idea
Awesome awesome Margaret,proudly Kenyan
I grow coffee too if you need am here
Kenya my country I will forever love u back my country
Kevin is like a girl who has already said they won't sleep with you, but while you're talking to a girl who actually IS interested shes standing there in the back continuing to offer up her thoughts and try to put pressure on you to take the deal with the other girl.
This reminded me of that scene from the movie holes when she had to choose up between the dude that loved her and the blob with the pigs😂
Depending on when this was or where it was the pigs might be a symbol of wealth and status. Like fat women used to be a long time ago because if a woman was fat it meant her man had lots of money to feed her. So fat women were highly valued and desired.
