How to install a CSL Style Seibon Carbon Fiber Trunk on BMW F30 | F80 (Carbon Fiber F30 Mods!)

Hey Everyone,
Today, we're going to balance out the back of the car, with a CSL style Carbon Fiber Trunk from Seibon. The trunk in this video fits the F30 along with the F80 M3.
As you'll see in the video, it's not a difficult process, however, it's always best to have a second person on hand. Also, whenever you are working with Carbon, there's always the chance that you'll need to do some modification to the piece. In the video, we talked about how some of the lights needed some 3M tape to stay in, however, we did want to let you know that after using the car for some time, we noticed an issue with the trunk handle and trunk tail lights falling out, so we had to go back and do some additional modifications, to ensure that everything fit as it should.

Any tips for adjust trunk edge up down? My passenger side is a few millimeters below the qtr panel edge.

You need to adjust the springs most likely, but it depends on the car
There’s a weird noise like metal shaking or tapping under my mid console armrest area. Is there any way to remove the whole thing and check it myself ?? Thanks

Love your videos Brian but I really don’t get what a carbon fiber trunk should bring you... and please don’t give me the bs about weight reduction... plus it looks awful, just my opinion. A carbon fiber front hood I get, looks good and sporty, and it brings a certain weight reduction well needed on the front axle (‘cause of the engine), but a carbon fiber trunk...? Come on! Just my opinion, but I think you’re going just a bit too far with the whole carbon fiber thing... Sorry if I seem a little bit annoyed, it’s just because... I am! 👋🏼
