This is one of the best points hotels in Cabo. Virtually every room at The Cape offers full unobstructed ocean views (yes even the base rooms). The hotel is absolutely stunning. The design is modern and extremely open. Rooms are full open-concept and have wide windows that open to let you listen to the ocean waves. There is no separation between the bedroom and bathroom which I personally love but it doesn’t make for a great family hotel room.
The food is absolutely top tier. Every dish I had was supremely delicious. By the way, you should try the banana split at the rooftop bar.
Service was overall friendly but there were two major misses which left a poor taste in my mouth. If you are a Globalist, make sure what you order is included because our waiter was unclear which led to him becoming very angry at us when we made a mistake.
Overall, I would recommend staying in this hotel, especially if you are using World of Hyatt points.

The French toast was absolutely delicious. The food quality at this hotel was out of this world.

The food was pretty expensive, similar to US resort prices. Although I never ate dinner here so I can’t comment how expensive that was
Has nothing to do with the diet adding food that has eyes. Doesn't look like they label which food is extra charge and if you did not get a menu that showed it I could see why you did not know. Though different area different pricing and a cavalcade of different laws.
