- Ryan Moore produced a remarkable ride to get Fairy Godmother out of trouble and deliver her to victory in the Albany Stakes on day four at Royal Ascot.
Aidan O'Brien's filly beat home Ollie Sangster's Simmering and stablemate Heavens Gate in third.

Moore handled that traffic like a London cabbie: Excellent!
Ryan was very lucky on this occasion. Fair play, he got the job done, but the real star is Fairy Godmother. Immediately after the race when interviewed by Matt Chapman, Ryan admitted & I quote his exact words “ I gave her an impossible task & she got me out of a hole”
Its just my view but that must be an incredible horse, never mind the jockey for s minute. In all honesty the horse was completely in the wrong position to make a challenge. You can see that ryan had to move the horse right across the back of the field to get into the clear before he could ask it to make a challenge. The horse responded fantastically - how many others would have managed that finish ? Suppose the horse had been in a challenging position say third or fourth behind the leader, it would have won with a ton in hand. Any comments ?
S poor ride in my opinion,only for the filly being to class,she should never have won,she should never have been put in that position in the first place.

Yes but a lesser jockey might have panicked but Ryan didn't .....lucky he had such a machine underneath him ...Great horse .
The horse got the jockey out of trouble, not the other way round.

The confidence you must have in your house to go all the way around the field at that stage of the race is unbelievable.....super ride
