TAS means (Tool-Assisted-Speedrun), although the proper label for this video should be TAP (Tool-Assisted-Play). This kind of play is done using emulators and savestates. There's no hack or cheat. Sol going backwards and all that weird stuff are bugs from the game due to all the weird commands the maker of the video pulled during the recording. It's really hilarious. I recommend you to watch other TAS videos so you can see how crazy are.

As someone who played every guilty gear, I must say that I love the original MAX Volcanic Viper much more than what we have now. That wall of fire advancing toward the opponent, that was rape.
Seeing Justice ripped apart was cathartic as hell. Hated that boss fight. Only way I beat her was opening the disc tray and it would slow the game down. Side effect of doing that was no music though.

+Dr. Earthworm Robotnik It's a tool-assisted speedrun, where basically simulates a perfect run using rewind/savestates, like if it was THE ultimate CPU. But then, it may still apply that you thought you were good at Guilty Gear if you haven't beat the game without continues (I blame you, Justice).

Demoncradle Thanks! I was able to pull it off. I also did it with Baiken. Sometimes if you do it with Sol's Bandit Revolver he will instead do a low Riot Stamp without the jumping back part.
RiBB|Lion the backwards attacks are odd. There's a "back hit" in this game and it makes weird things happen. Other times you ca do like jump over then after a sweep, then backdash and do volcanic viper and you might go flying in the wrong direction. Some of them I think are glitches honestly.
