Ok quick game breakdown. I was there right on the 50. What won the game for MD was the D line period. The key to Bosco is #28 the back. He averages 10+ yards a carry. Hes the reason why Bosco receivers are always wide open because they have to respect him. Bosco only throws the ball about 15 times a game it's just big plays. I was nervous about this game because in game one they dominated upfront. This game MD shut down the run game and made them one dimensional. Then on the outside receivers they played up and didn't give them a free release because Bosco receivers are faster than our corners so to counter the speed they got physical with them which took away DJ's first read which allowed the pass rush to get to him. It was a great game. MD won the game upfront gotta give the D line that love.

I still waiting for all that Bosco energy I was getting a few weeks ago. I want someone to dispute when I said if you take away DJs first read he's a different QB. The kid has the highest ceiling in high school football right now but hes not perfect. Throwing 6 touchdowns in a game on posts and streaks when your receivers are wide open don't make you great. He has some work to do but if it was my kid next year would be his last year of football. I hear he's a hell of a baseball player. That's a no brainer.

The two best teams and the nation with IMG right there. I need all that Bosco energy I was hearing. I said it would be a much better game this time because Bosco had all the juice last game. They wanted revenge for that ass whipping they got in last year's championship and Mater Dei was big headed and thought they could just show up and Bosco would fold. Where is all those coaches who got on me for saying DJ has talent but is a one read QB. If you take his first read away he goes from Superman to Clark Kent. I was at the game it should have been at least a 17 point win. Bosco DBs pass interference on every play damn near. Quick shout out to the I.E Ducks who's QB's have dominated high school football for the last 5 years each one started after the other. Tate Martell to Re'al Mitchell to JT Daniels to Bryce Young. They have won 3 of the last 4 National Championships and when Bryce wins in two weeks 4 of the last 5. All have won State Championships, Re'al is the only one that didn't win a National Championship but he won the state title and Bosco finished in the top 5 in the country. That's fucking insane to think about.

I think MD played there best game and SJB didnt play well. if they played 10 times it would be a 50/50 split. But if we are going to talk about a National Champions then the top teams in the national should be able to forfeit the State Playoffs to complete in a National Playoff. You got Max Prep, Battle, CZcams, etc so funding isnt really a issue. A 4-6 team playoff with the top 4-6 programs that opt in. Now Hoover, MD, SJB, SJ DC, Allen, BG, STA, arent winning every State Titles.
So when MD beats DLS(we all know this) i think MD go into State Championship games and face a Texas , Florida or DMV area team!

this was very difficult to watch because I dislike MD a lot, and Bosco is losing a lot of talent to graduation, I think MD is returning more starters next year than Bosco is but I pray and hope Bosco uses their last 2 post-season losses to MD in 2018 and 2017 as revenge, as motivation factor, I hope Bosco can reload successfully for next year, I know their QB is returning but they need more than that obviously, any FB team does.

You can't be a National Champion without playing a National schedule so that means Texas is exempt from ever being a National Champion because they are scared to death to play any team out of Texas since Gorman rolled in and blew the doors off their top ranked team a few years ago.

Mater Demi is a better tea but they have the advantage of recruiting people from across the nation which is not allowed in Texas Allen is also a public school and not a prep school so Allen might just be the best public school at football in the nation
