In the end after the wreck, NS SD60 6593 was a scrap. NS SD60 6653 was repair and it was put back into the service! However, it rebuilt into an SD60E and it renumbered to 6900! NS 4622 was repair and it was put back into the service. Whenever, it was renumbered to 4636! Honestly, it rebuilt into an GP59E! And it renumbered again to 4652!
RIP Norfolk Southern C40-9 8798 and Norfolk Southern AC44C6M 4063 (Rebuilt from NS C40-9 8821) đąđąđąđąđą. Remember, NS 8798 was never rebuilt into an AC44C6M!
Okay, NS AC44C6M 4001 (Rebuilt from NS C40-9 8879) was involved in Mattawana, PA train collision with NS SD70ACE 1036. Luckily, both were survived on the wreck! And both went to the NS shops! NS 4001 was repair and it was put back into the service in 2020! NS 1036 was put back into the service in 2019.
