You really have a knack for inspecting and showcasing various objects. The way you handle them is very gentle, I think it's great
Wow! You’re not kidding. Those Beatles singles on Parlophone are more than likely quite valuable. I was napping listening to your video but I perked right up when I saw those! You should put them in a safe deposit box. Omg T-Rex too? I’m dying😮
Unfortunately, apart from the Red Parlophone ‘Love Me Do’ single, those Beatles singles will more than likely not fetch more than a couple of quid each.
The parlophone 45s were printed like crazy so they aren't worth much. However, the 'love me do' 45 you showed once sold for 11,000 on 'discogs' (a sight to track vinyl prices). But it depends on the pressing, the average sale price is 400. Awesome collection!
I guess I’m basing it on the US. We go nuts for the Parlophone stuff since we’re so used to seeing Capitol.
Especially with The Beatles solo movies on the horizon
The slow, precise hand movements and the soft voice make this one of your best videos so far in my opinion.
Wow, thanks.
Not sure it beats the medical vids though
"Birmingham's finest..." I immediately thought : "BLACK SABBATH !". 😊
I also thought sabbath or Moody Blues
@@majahcorcoran782 damn, when you think about it: Heavy Metal was born there ! Sabbath, Judas Priest, and later Napalm Death resided here and forged their "British Steel" . Legends ! Besides metal, there were also Electric Light Orchestra and Duran Duran. And probably more , I just have forgotten...
I absolutely LOVE this "series", the collections. The DVDs, games, cassettes, etc .
Same

I concur. The perfume videos are a close 2nd imo.
Your mum has great taste. Those 45s brought back childhood memories. Thanks for sharing her collection! 💜📀
Just noticed something a little odd. If you notice, SRP only hits the love button on people that mention his ASMR. Doesn’t seem to care about us discussing the records in the video??
@@scottrap i mean why would he? he needs feedback on the ASMR aka the entire point of his channel, it's like complimenting a single episode in a whole series, people will care about the opinion on the whole series not on a single episode
it's also simply not true, i had to scroll once to see him Heart a comment about the collection
@@-mako-6018 I’m very sensitive, which is why I need ASMR😉
Why has there not been a guinea pig caretaking video yet? I can see the potential already.
Aww, I loved hearing the guinea pigs 💖
Cute little purrs from the piggies, that's cool brother. I like it. They want to help.
I love these videos where you show us collections. Well done!
I bought my first LP as we used to call them, in 1970. I still have all the albums I bought up to 1991, when I switched to CDs. Still got all of them too. Loved Rocket Love, love Stevie. Thanks SRP 👍
you both have amazing collections of many things! 😄 thanks for sharing
Cheers. Wish my dad had a collection. I listen to everything he did.
This was a great video! Loved the content, loved your tone pace and movement! Really enjoyable and tingly!
Excellent. Thanks for the feedback.
Marc Bolan and T.Rex, my favorite! Your mom has great taste. I recognize the old Fly records label. The T.Rex private label in the sleeve is cool, and "Metal Guru" is a favorite.
Superb. I loved watching this, so I watched it again...and again, even though I was in an almost catatonic state. Your collection videos are great!
my mom also had a vinyl record collection made entirely of brazilian music (MPB). as a child I simply couldn't understand how music could come out from a record scratching a needle. great video, as always mate
You truly help me go to sleep in minutes thank you for your hard work
Not a problem
Will have to finish this later but just loving it! Great collection and even better ASMR 😍
😊🫶🏼
45s are so lovely, objects of art. Thank you!
Man, thats some collection! Mom has a great music taste.
Awesome video would love more vinyl vids
Thank you, I loved this ❤. My Mam had Elvis Rock a hula baby/Can’t help falling in love with you, and T-Rex Solid Gold Easy Action was the first record I bought. A relaxing nostalgia trip, nice one 😊
RSO was a Robert Stigwood label, I remember that logo extensively from my American teens, especially with The Bee Gees & Andy Gibb. 😊
My favourite asmr channel this year. Thank you 😊
Glad to hear it and you’re welcome
This man is the best at asmr i know that your mom is very smart like you
That’s very kind of you 😊🫶🏼
No problem
Thank you😊😊
Absolutely brilliant SRP! This is more my era!😄 More please!!!!!
I’m sure my Nan had a collection full of Neil Diamond and Engelbert Humperdinck😂
@@SRPASMR They're still around!
Your mum had a nice ecclectic taste. Thanks for sharing that stroll down a long memory lane. ❤
No worries
Love your many collections srp ❤
That was fun and very relaxing :) Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it
Now we can see where you got your amazing taste in music
Ty my friend
I'd love to see a VHS collection.
This is so cool. I turn 18 in a month and im a huge fan of artist like dire straight, the doors, status quo and many more and a week ago i invested some money in a turntable and i got some records from the 60s that were from my grandpa! I love the video keep up the good work
It’s always nice to see an appreciation for music before our generation.
Fair play to you.
Lol same when I turned 18 I spent my savings on one too and I’m steadily building my collection of vinyls 😁😁
Yeah mum! Great collection… definitely make a video of your dad’s vinyl records too please!
Thanks for sharing these goodies with us😊
No problem
This is epic! Love this!
🙇♂️✌🏼
Shout out to the Stevie Wonder 45's! He's my all time favorite artist
This one was perfect 🙏
Very interesting, nice video!
You reviewed vinyl records, at last! Happy Day!! 🥳
Your momma is one groovy lady judging by her music taste! Full of classics. I’m also a huge UB40 fan
Yes. My earliest music memory was probably UB40. I remember my dad always playing them in the car.
@@SRPASMR cool parents. Love it!
RE: The unidentified record
The Crowd was a charity supergroup formed specifically to produce a charity record for the Bradford City stadium fire, in which 56 people died on 11 May 1985. The group consisted of singers, actors, television personalities and others.Gerry Marsden of Gerry and the Pacemakers had decided to make a charity record to aid the families of the victims of the disaster (the Bradford City Disaster Fund). The re-recording of the 1963 number 1 hit song "You'll Never Walk Alone" from the Broadway musical Carousel, also a 'football anthem' for Liverpool supporters, entered the UK charts at No. 52, leaping to number 4 the following week and then reaching Number 1 on 15 June 1985. The record also topped the Irish Singles Chart. The single gave Gerry Marsden a 'first' in British recording history, by becoming the first person ever to top the charts with two versions of the same song.
Contributing musicians and celebrities
The band and celebrity members included: Bruce Forsyth, Denny Laine, Jim Diamond, Tony Christie, Rick Wakeman, John Conteh, The Barron Knights, Jess Conrad, Kiki Dee, the Foxes, Rolf Harris, Graham Gouldman, Kenny Lynch, Rick Wild of The Overlanders, Keith Chegwin, Tony Hicks, Colin Blunstone, Tim Hinkley, Johnny Logan, Zak Starkey, Girlschool, Black Lace, John Otway, Gary Holton, Peter Cook, the Nolans, John Entwistle of The Who, Motörhead, Dave Lee Travis, Graham Dene, Ed Stewart, Phil Lynott, Smokie, Joe Fagin, Eddie Hardin, Gerard Kenny, Tim Healy, John Verity, Rose Marie, David Shilling, Chris Norman, Bernie Winters, Robert Heaton, and Frank Allen of The Searchers.[citation needed]
Paul McCartney contributed some words on the B-side of the record which was titled "Messages".
Yeah I just copy and pasted the Wikipedia. That period was the golden age of philanthropic singles.
Hey that’s wicked mate, my pal out in Acock’s Green used to knock about with UB40, Uncle was their roadie or something 👍
Yeah. Shame it all went pear shaped between Ali and Robin. Also rip Astro & Brian
Delightful ❤
This is my niche heaven in video form!!! :))
I have accidentally damaged my vinyl's but managed to keep the best one protected: George Benson - give me the night. No tune can be compared to that especially combined with a sunset evening with warm weather and a cold brew.
Such a great song. I was lucky enough to see him in concert last summer. Even at 80, he still sounds great
I still love my two-tone. I'm a huge ska fan too.
😎
Ahhhhh! Brilliant. Was wondering if/how you'd follow this up. Genius move ser.
Thank you. I should have more, even older ones to bring you
Thanks Doc 💜💜💜
No worries
My favorite Friday Night! ❤❤❤

I don’t know why they started fighting during the video. They’re always settled until I want to do something.
Nice!
Nice. Thank you
Love those Trex Vinyls

The BEST ASMRTIST Around.
Ty
It’s cool that your mum was into reggae. I assume that’s one reason you have a live for the genre too, judging by your CD and cassette collections 😊
With one breath, with one flow.
We need a GUINEA PIG video!!!
Couldn’t sleep after the Beatles haha-they’re probably worth more than I’ve made in a fair while
The audio level is much better on this one
Wow, I remember you said maybe you will go back to the past next time, and you weren't kidding. Didn't know vinyls were before cassettes. 🤯
Vinyls were the originals. Right after wax tubes. 😖 I'm so old.
@@onesunnyday5699 😂
Hey srp! You should store those on their side, not flat!
They are stored as you say in a box
Why some vinyls have a big hole in its center? Sorry if it's a dumb question, I can't remember if we had these types in my country. In fact I only remember to have full album vinyls. Maybe the first time I saw a single vinyl was last year when my aunt gave to my sis now and them from Beatles 😅
Apparently it made them suitable for a jukebox
If you slow down "every breath you take" and listen more carefully, it's a really creepy song.
The records your mother had are very interesting.
Apart from Elvis 😂
The Beatles was a huge shock
Epic
🤜🏼🤛🏼
😴 🎧
I thought the second one was Darkthrone.
love music
Oh yes
Wings are what the Beatles could have been...
All the britpop bands like ub40, def leppard
Please make a video showing your Guinea pigs!
