I love Mr. Robert Fripp! Nobody pushes musical boundaries like him. I love the first 7 albums of King Crimson and have them on high resolution DVD-AUDIO Discs. His musical genius knows no bounds. I am very upset that he and King Crimson aren't in the Rock n' Roll hall of Fame. I know all musicians greatly respect and admire him, but he doesn't get enough credit. Each time you hear about classic rock you hear about The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and the Rolling stones which are very deserving of praise, but so is Robert Fripp and King Crimson.
I got into listening to Robert Fripp in the 70s...great Era of emerging new sounds ...Brian Eno ..Iggy ..Bowie ..Roxy music...wonderful time .Robert is a free thinker...There is no mould for this elegant man ..true Mensch ...Going strong today ....keep going man ...just keep grooving
Dare I say it? Mr. Fripp is living his bliss. With a beautiful energetic wife who is the consummate stage performer, he's used the few years of Toyah and Robert's Sunday Lunch videos to hone his rock chops. The hard work paid off. I was so pleased to see these snippets of such great performances. I hope they tour the US!

I've been in to Fripp since I heard in the Court of the Crimson King when it first came out.
I saw him twice in the 70s, once in the 80s, once in the 90s… he's been doing torrents of notes since before Hetfield picked up a guitar.

I greatly admire Robert and the virtuosity of Roberts guitar playing cannot be understated. However, there is a lack of fluidity and emotion in his improvised playing that I find heartening as a guitar player.
I had the sincere pleasure of watching you both at Storming the Castle last night. Absolutely incredible. Hope to see some footage of that show on here as well.

Here, Mr. Fripp does the near impossible or at least the extremely difficult: 1) He executes a shredding metal solo perfectly. He builds the solo step by step, and melodically. Every note is articulated. This can only be attributed to years of dedicated practice and talent.
2) At times, he does so while Toyah is singing. This is clear even on a you tube video. (Partial credit to the sound mixer!)
3) The high energy of the solo must be mentioned as it can be seen that Mr. Fripp is no longer 22 years old.
