Why this extremely long neck on the trailer ? I guess the truck could still back up and tip at a 90 degree angle, even if the neck was 1 meter shorter ? Just wondering, we never see this configuration in Denmark :)
I dont know so much about that unfortunately, but it will be easier to back up and unload the truck as you said, but I dont know if that's the only reason for the long neck =).

(I think) it is so you get as long reach you need between first axle of truck and last on trailer so you can load Max on that combination you have.
for someone thats used to short neck, reversing one of these is a nightmare
