  • The 2xMarine is a unique pontoon boat by Wide Open Marine that automatically doubles in size once you put it in water! ➡ odditymall.co/bbxqr
The expanding pontoon boat is called the 2xMarine, and when it's back to fully contracted it'll fit onto any standard pontoon trailer.
It makes the perfect party pontoon. It measures 17.5 feet wide when fully expanded, and just 8.5 feet wide when fully closed.

I wonder how stable it would be in rough water

8 and a half feet wide, so oversized permits are required to trailer it. (If caught.) I wonder how strong it is in rougher water or the wind. Cool idea though.

Until mechanical failure hits and you can’t collapse it to get it on the trailer. Seems to me like a novelty. To many moving parts to not have issue. Constant issues I’d imagine.
