Thank you Bro. I use to fast long time ago. I still every once in a while but i have been thinking about fasting. I am 86 years old,i amdisabled in my hips and legs i can,t go go to church but i want to go. I am glad. I glad i listen to yoiu on praying and fasting. You brought lots thing to my understanding. I love this General of God! I agree. *When I fast I do not eat.* I have to prep to fast, but cutting out certain foods prior to even starting the fast. 🇨🇦
I'm a breadwinner in the family. I fast while I work. The longest so far I had is 3 days only when I was 21 now I'm 53. I always long and think of a regular fasting because of its many spiritual benefits. May the Lord continue to help us to fast more earnestly.

Wow yes rhank you jesus yes its the powerful on words we have to speak to the flesh and the devil to leave me alone and speak great things yes yes yes i lost my job i went in depression but i need to fast for my family and put my flesh under subjection the last two weeks been hearing walk in your flesh or holy ghost
If God can do those things.. God is also able to use you Win Souls to Jesus..

I’m Diabetic and when I fast I don’t use insulin and I do just fine, no food no need for insulin is what I found. To fast and take insulin at the same time will kill you.
So much of what I have experienced with fasting has been confirmed here.

If you pray The Armour of God every single day it will help. Armor of God: I take my loins girt about with truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, The Shield of Faith, the Helmet of salvation and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
(This is based off of Ephesians 6)
I went to jail once and, i decided to fast. I prayed every day of the fast but, only in my head. I had a stupid determination to fast until they let me out. I was home on the thirteenth day and, my brother visited on the fourteenth. I was starting to become a little strange and, i heard voices. My brother convinced me to eat but, i waited until exactly the fourteen days had passed. I heard voices for a while a few years ago and, i thought i was fighting spirits. I've come to realize the voices were all in my head. The reason I'm commenting this is that im wondering if that fast was even valid. Should you be called to such lengths in fasting? Can i just tell my Pastor that I'm going on a two week fast and, that be acceptable? I've fasted one day a week for 7 or 8 weeks straight, i think i can handle it.
How does one not get distracted while fasting when you have to work? This is one of my biggest struggles while fasting.

Try listening to spiritual things all day while you're working like sermons on CZcams or even songs and audiobooks. That helps keep your mind on it

Far better to plan a fast that you know you can keep then a longer one your not sure of.
Should Prayer Warriors only pray one hour a day or how long should they pray a day? Why Jesus after 40 days fasting still have to go to pray every night? Why Daniel after he prayed God heard his prayer and who told him to fast n pray and wait again 21 days?
Have we discover the level or the deep things of prayer? I think we have following leaders who only minister in their Soul level they never reach or to minister in the Spirit Level?
The disciples went to the temple in the hour of prayer. What is your church’s hour of prayer? We only pray 3 minutes of prayer called Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner moments? Is that’s the reason we are not seeing any miracles?
We have lectures who only read notes about Prayer but they never had a moment to spend hours in the prayer room! The Mangun ministry still praying over 50 years now because they schedule people like the Bible where you go to pray the first hour or 3rd hour 6th or 9th and following scriptures!
We probably misinterpreted when Jesus said these only comes by prayer and fasting? He taught them the prayer taught was for first level maybe for those who wants to see greater things needs to elevate your level of prayer because in Mathew 11:12 ….we take it by force it’s a battle not Disneyland prayer!

How can God (Jesus) (the Son), be chasing God hard, like nobody has ever done?
Wouldn’t that be a Oneness contradiction of theology?
It's the same problem with trinitarianism. Was God praying to Himself? No.
The man Christ Jesus was praying to the Eternal Spirit of the Father. That's trinitarian theology as well.
To my trinitarian friend …. That’s because you don’t really know JESUS
It is not a contradiction.
This is the dual nature of Christ. Jesus Christ was fully man, fully God - all at the same time.
So whenever we see Jesus praying, it is His humanity praying to the eternal Spirit of God.
When we see Him thirst, hunger, sleep or bleed, it is His humanity at work.
When we see Jesus forgive sins, it is Him being God and doing what only God can do.
I hope that makes a little bit of sense. 😊
Fasting is not eating… and Eating is not fasting…. I wouldn’t get too extreme with that…
