BIKE TOUR ALONG THE HISTORY ARROUND DUDERSTADT

The tourist information office in Duderstadt offers guided adventure tours by bike. The history of the weir systems around Duderstadt is explored by bike in groups of up to 10 cyclists. Historic lookout towers and thorny hedges, but also the inner-German border, have shaped the landscape around Duderstadt. You can get an impression of the course of history around Duderstadt via bike paths, dirt roads and less traveled roads. Bernhard Köhler, as "Knick-master Borchard Borchardes", guides cycling enthusiasts through the hilly surroundings of Duderstadt in an interesting and detailed education tour. Two tours of different lengths are offered. I'll take you on the longer tour of about 35 km. Because of the hilly landscape and the more than 500 vertical meters of the route profile, only sporty cyclists should use a normal bike instead an e-bike.

Vielen lieben Dank 💛 Ich nutze eigentlich nur Google Maps und eine App, die meine Touren aufzeichnet für meine Radausflüge. Komoot kenne ich natürlich, aber leider habe ich da keine Daten. Die letzten schönen Tage habe ich für das Filmen entlang der Werra und Fulda mit den Etappen von Melsungen bzw. Eschwege bis Hann. Münden genutzt und in der bald kommenden trüberen Jahreszeit werde ich die Videos schneiden. Dann gibt es neue regionale Ausflugsempfehlungen. Zu guter Letzt wünsche ich euch wunderbare Radtouren in unserer radfreundlichen Region 😎🚴‍♂️💪

Hallo Jörg, wir sind vor knapp drei Wochen diese herrliche Tour gefahren. Da kann man sich echt in das Eichsfeld verlieben.
Obwohl wir mit EBikes unterwegs waren,war die Tour ordentlich knackig.

Wer nicht gerade so Fahrradverrückt ist wie ich, sollte bei der Tour auch lieber das EBike nehmen. Ich fand die Tour auch wunderschön und es gibt viele weitere schöne Radwege in der Umgebung. Von Duderstadt nach Worbis zum Bärenpark und in den Ort selber oder zum Seeburger See. Dann noch viele schöne Touren 🚴‍♂️💪🖐️
