Shoutouts if you noticed the 1 second of the thumbnail being on screen hahahha, there was no way I was deleting and re-uploading just to fix that one tiny mistake! ANYWAYYY, enjoy this reaction and il see you for the NEXT SPECIAL SOON :)
I just have to say that I really enjoyed this episode. Can't wait for the rest of the specials. I love Donna, she was and still is my favourite companion.
They only slightly overdid it with the trans exposition towards the en (“binary/non-binary/binary & “male-presenting Time Lord”), but beyond that, it was completely fine. Orphan 55 was so much worse. That treated the viewer as a dumb child.
To be honest, I found the episode kind of disappointing. It didn't feel like a celebration of Doctor Who at all. There was SO much exposition and some of the dialogue was atrocious. I'm not going to be one of those guys going "woke this" or "woke that" (because they're absurdly toxic) but I was somewhat upset that this episode just felt like a way to promote a political message rather than deliver an interesting story.
They did overdo it at the end with some of the lines said by Rose. Her dialogue was clunky and made everything feel too forced. Beyond that, I really enjoyed the episode.

Agreed, she is such a good companion!
This episode was SO much fun! Glad you enjoyed it too. Look forward to your take on the next one, Wild Blue Yonder.
Yeah it was a great laugh, and I’m very hyped for wild blue yonder
GHEY
Woke has slithered into Dr. Who… this is a SICKNEEEEES, of the highest order.
I have to agree some of the dialogue wasn’t needed, but oh well I won’t lose sleep over it

I was annoyed with that too, but I still did enjoy none the less, but I agree it has its flaws

I agree @@Jim_The_Fish
It was by far the worst episode of Dr Woke i've EVER seen. Truly ghastly TV!
Fair I enjoyed it, it may be flawed but I still had a good time
Doctor Who has been woke since 1963. Guess you’ve never seen the Third Doctor. The show was probably never for you.
@@Jim_The_Fish Its NEVER been woke. Guess you have no idea what woke means!
